Job Description

The Sr. Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing objectives, strategies, and programs to support the achievement of Visa’s business and brand objectives. This role participates in the development of company marketing programs, assesses market potential, plans product life cycles, coordinates technical product development, and defines promotional activities and product launches. Activities may include technical sales support, product advertising and promotion, planning, developing, and implementing multiple channel programs, and the development of company market requirements for specific products or product lines.

All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing objectives, strategies, and programs to support business and brand goals.

  • Participate in the creation and execution of company marketing programs, including product life cycle planning and technical product development.

  • Define and implement promotional activities and product launches across multiple channels.

  • Assess market potential and identify opportunities for growth.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and plans.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

  • Experience in developing marketing strategies and programs.

  • Experience in defining and implementing promotional activities.

For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $153,700.00 to $ 246,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
