Let's Talk About The Role
The Senior Manager, Strategic Accounts Marketing, leads the marketing agenda for The North Face's Strategic Key Accounts (SKAs) across EMEA. The role sets the strategic direction for account marketing, drives profitable and sustainable growth, and ensures marketing plans are aligned with brand priorities and commercial objectives.
Working across Sales, Product and Marketing, the role owns account marketing planning, manages senior stakeholder relationships, and leads a team responsible for delivering integrated marketing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Set and own the long-term account marketing strategy for Strategic Key Accounts across EMEA.
Lead the seasonal cross-functional GTM planning process with Sales and Product across all key milestones.
Ensure account marketing plans are integrated into the wider marketing mix and support brand and commercial goals.
Direct the use of marketing tactics and channels to drive brand awareness, engagement and conversion.
Review account and campaign performance, adjusting plans and priorities based on results.
Own the Strategic Accounts Marketing budget, managing investment to ROI and financial targets.
Manage senior relationships with account partners, acting as the marketing lead and escalation point.
Lead internal communication with senior leadership, promoting the work and visibility of the Strategic Accounts Marketing team.
Align internal stakeholders and drive execution across functions.
Improve processes, ways of working and team effectiveness.
Lead and develop the Strategic Accounts Marketing team.
Skills for Success
University degree in Marketing or Business.
6+ years of marketing experience in the sporting goods/outdoor or lifestyle industry.
Track record of building and delivering marketing plans with major retail, wholesale or marketplace partners.
Strong commercial acumen and business understanding.
Solid understanding of marketing performance drivers and how to optimise them.
Experience managing budgets and delivering measurable results.
Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level.
People management and team leadership experience.
Strong digital and retail marketing knowledge.
Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
Fluent in English. Additional European languages are an advantage.
