About the Role:
As a Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll design and execute multi-channel programs that guide developers and enterprise customers through their journey with Vercel—from onboarding and adoption to retention and expansion. Your work will directly influence how customers experience the platform, ensuring they realize the full value of Vercel’s products.
You’ll partner closely with the Growth Product Team, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Data to deliver personalized, impactful lifecycle communications that scale globally. This is a high-visibility role with the opportunity to impact both revenue and customer engagement.
What You Will Do:
- End-to-end lifecycle campaigns across email, in-app, and other owned & paid channels to drive activation, adoption, and long-term retention.
- Segmentation and personalization strategies that deliver timely and relevant messages to developers and enterprise stakeholders. Develop and maintain customer journey maps to identify friction points, optimize touchpoints, and design end-to-end experiences that drive conversion, retention, and loyalty.
- Automated workflows and experimentation, building scalable programs with behavioral triggers, A/B testing, and data-driven optimizations.
- Campaign measurement and reporting, surfacing insights on performance and recommending opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional alignment, ensuring lifecycle marketing supports Sales and Customer Success priorities and ties into Vercel’s broader GTM strategy.
- Creative and content collaboration, partnering with design and product marketing to develop messaging that resonates with both technical and business audiences.
About You:
- 4+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or growth marketing, ideally within SaaS, developer tools, or B2B technology.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Iterable, Braze, Marketo) and analytics platforms (Amplitude, Segment, Looker, Mixpanel).
- Proven ability to design and scale multi-channel lifecycle campaigns that drive measurable improvements in product adoption and retention.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of turning insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, and GTM teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical developers and enterprise buyers.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $176,000 - $220,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
