Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive executive thought leadership strategy that strengthens the principal's profile.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to the Head of Enterprise Strategy & Transformation, providing counsel on executive presence, positioning, stakeholder engagement, messaging, reputation opportunities, and emerging issues.
- Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, media engagements, authored content, industry forums, and strategic partnerships that advance Vanguard's reputation and strategic agenda.
- Translates enterprise strategy, transformation initiatives, and business priorities into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Builds relationships with conference organizers, industry associations, think tanks, media contacts, academic institutions, and other external influencers to expand the reach and credibility of Vanguard's strategic narrative.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in executive communications, public affairs, journalism, or strategic messaging.
- Ability to develop a variety of compelling content under tight deadlines.
- Excellent judgment and experience providing communications advice and counsel to senior executive leaders.
- Experience supporting corporate strategy, transformation, innovation, or management consulting leaders strongly preferred.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
