You will work with customers across Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, and the Philippines, helping them improve their operations through refining, screening, cleaning, fiber recovery, and pulp handling solutions. Your responsibilities
- You will develop new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers across Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
- You will identify customer needs and recommend stock preparation solutions, including refining, screening, cleaning, fiber recovery, and pulp handling technologies.
- You will pursue sales opportunities, visit customers, and drive sales activities to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- You will prepare technical-commercial proposals, system configurations, and cost estimates aligned with customer requirements.
- You will negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and delivery conditions within your authority while managing opportunities through to closure.
- You will lead capital equipment and solution-selling opportunities from initial contact through contract award.
- You will identify, research, and engage prospective customers to generate future business and repeat sales.
- You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to share customer feedback, market intelligence, and competitor insights.
- You will support changing customer and market requirements by providing timely technical and commercial input.
- You may provide guidance and expertise within your area of specialization.
Expectations from you
- You hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Technology, or a related technical field.
- An MBA is considered an advantage.
- You have 5-8 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or product management within stock preparation systems, pulp and paper machinery, or industrial process equipment.
- You have a strong understanding of stock preparation processes and related technologies.
- You can interpret P&IDs, layout drawings, technical specifications, and develop technical proposals.
- You have proven experience in solution selling, capital equipment sales, customer account planning, and commercial negotiations.
- You are comfortable working independently while managing customer relationships and sales opportunities.
- You are willing to travel extensively across Southeast Asia (50-70%).
