Job Details:

General Notes:

  • The Moody College Data, Analytics, and Assessment team supports Moody College operational functions, such as student support services, academic success, and post-graduate career outcomes.

Purpose:

  • Will support the Data, Analytics, and Assessment team within Moody College by collecting, processing, and analyzing student data to help inform leadership decision-making

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning data to ensure quality and accuracy

  • Analyzing data through quantitative and qualitative methods, including statistical analyses

  • Interpreting results to describe trends and provide digestible findings for multiple audiences

  • Visualizing data through graphs, tables, and charts in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or other software

Required Qualifications:

  • Current UT Austin graduate student Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research design and analysis methods.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary research team.

  • Willingness to complete required training and follow protocols for secure, ethical, and IRB-compliant handling of human-subjects research data.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skill in developing presentations, reports, and other documents.

  • Statistical programming experience in STATA, SPSS, and/or R.

  • Ability to document code, data-processing steps, and workflow decisions clearly.

Salary Range:

  • $22/hr
