Role brief

growthroles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Run every stage of your territory’s sales process, from prospecting and technical qualification through contracts, closing, and expansion
  • Sell utility-scale modules and sourcing programs to US developers, EPCs, utilities, and independent power producers
  • Build a qualified pipeline of solar EPCs, developers, and IPPs while uncovering new markets and accounts
  • Advise on volume purchasing, bill-of-materials sourcing, supply agreements, tariffs, import rules, and compliance
  • Forecast pipeline and demand, represent the role at industry events, and relay market feedback to internal teams

What you bring

  • Bring ten to twenty years selling renewable energy, procuring solar hardware, or managing solar supply chains for the US market
  • Know N-type cells, TOPCon and HJT modules, ingot and wafer supply, plus US tariffs, import rules, and compliance
  • Understand the developers, EPCs, utilities, and IPPs in your assigned East Coast, Central, or West Coast territory
  • Present effectively to CTOs, procurement leaders, and project directors, using CRM systems and Microsoft tools confidently

Who this fits

You’ll suit a founding territory-builder who can sell technical solar offerings to senior procurement and supply chain stakeholders. The role begins as an individual contributor, with a path to mentoring and managing a Junior Sales Executive. It is remote within the United States and covers an assigned East Coast, Central, or West Coast zone.

From the employer

ZetSol Energy is the solar manufacturing and supply chain platform built to give North American solar developers, EPCs, utilities, and independent power producers a reliable, tariff-compliant alternative to fragmented overseas sourcing. The company is establishing a vertically integrated greenfield facility in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, producing silicon ingots, monocrystalline wafers, cells, and modules, including high-efficiency TOPCon and HJT technology, and pairs that manufacturing base with a full strategic sourcing, bill-of-materials management, quality audit, compliance, and logistics practice purpose-built for the US market.

ZetSol Energy is backed by Zetwerk, a global manufacturing platform valued at over $2.7 billion that already supplies solar piles, mechanical and structural components, and modules to leading US EPCs and asset owners, and whose 2022 acquisition of Unimacts strengthened its US industrial and solar manufacturing footprint. ZetSol Energy is the next chapter of that build-out: a dedicated US-facing commercial platform launching at a moment when American solar developers are actively searching for supply chain partners who can deliver both scale and certainty.

The Opportunity

Become one of ZetSol Energy's first three Regional Sales Heads in the United States, each owning a zone / territory (East Coast, Central, or West Coast) and building it from the ground up. This is a founding commercial role: you will be establishing ZetSol's presence with VP-level sourcing, procurement, and supply chain executives across the solar industry, opening doors where none currently exist, and translating a genuinely differentiated manufacturing and supply chain story into signed volume. Your hunter instinct, your comfort building a territory without an existing playbook, and your appreciation for the technical substance behind the pitch will set the pace for ZetSol's growth in North America.

Each Regional Sales Head starts as an individual contributor carrying full ownership of their territory's pipeline. As the US business scales, each will grow into a player-coach role, taking on a Junior Sales Executive to mentor and develop, a natural next step for someone who wants to build not just a book of business but a team.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales lifecycle within your territory, from initial outreach and technical qualification through contract negotiation, closing, and account growth.

• Drive utility-scale module and supply chain sales by pitching ZetSol's integrated manufacturing capabilities and customized, tariff-compliant sourcing solutions to US solar developers, EPCs, and asset owners.

• Build and maintain a high-value pipeline of solar EPCs, developers, and IPPs seeking a reliable, compliant alternative to fragmented overseas sourcing.

• Consult on volume procurement, structure and negotiate supply agreements, deliver custom bill-of-materials sourcing solutions, and navigate international supply compliance and US import regulations.

• Track industry movement within your territory, identifying new markets, greenfield accounts, and new-logo opportunities to expand ZetSol's US footprint.

• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and marketing teams to shape ZetSol's US product and service offering based on what you are hearing in the field.

• Represent ZetSol Energy at industry trade shows and conferences, and participate actively in regular team and leadership meetings.

• Provide accurate, regular pipeline and demand forecasts to support production planning and a frictionless supply chain.

• As your territory matures, mentor and manage a Junior Sales Executive, extending your reach and developing the next generation of ZetSol talent.

Requirements

• 10 - 20 years in B2B renewable energy sales, solar hardware procurement, or solar supply chain management, targeting the US market.

• Strong command of solar components, including N-type cells, TOPCon and HJT modules, and ingot and wafer supply chains, along with US import regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements.

• Comfort delivering a C-suite narrative to CTOs, procurement heads, and project directors across the renewables sector.

• Established understanding of the solar developer, EPC, utility, and IPP landscape within your assigned territory (East Coast, Central, or West Coast) and its key players.

• Strong customer orientation paired with fluency in CRM systems and standard Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Desired Qualifications

• A substantial network of senior management or VP-level supply chain and procurement executives you can bring to bear in growing ZetSol's footprint.

• A track record of proven business and sales acumen navigating complex, multi-stakeholder account cycles.

• A technical grounding in solar manufacturing or components, paired with intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to integrity.

Why ZetSol Energy

• You are one of the first three commercial hires shaping how ZetSol Energy goes to market in the United States, not inheriting a territory, building one.

• A defined path from individual contributor to player-coach, with the opportunity to hire and develop a Junior Sales Executive as your territory grows.

• Backed by Zetwerk's global manufacturing scale and an established US solar track record, giving you a credible, differentiated story to bring to every conversation.

• Full ownership of your territory's strategy and pipeline, with direct visibility into how your results shape the broader US build-out.
