Twentyfour Industries develops and manufactures drone systems for security and defense applications. Our customers range from public authorities and security organisations (BOS) to industrial and commercial users. To support our growth, we're looking for a Junior Sales Manager to help build our sales function and win new customers in both B2B and B2G.
You'll work closely with our Head of Sales, our management team and our technical team. Step by step, you'll take on your own customer relationships and revenue targets. Within 12–24 months, you'll be looking after a customer segment on your own.
- Find and approach potential customers in government, industry and the commercial sector, by phone, email, at trade fairs and through digital channels
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and pass mature opportunities on to the Head of Sales
- After onboarding, manage your own customer base, including repeat business and cross-/up-selling
- Prepare offers, pricing calculations and follow-ups together with management
- Give product presentations and support demo flights and customer meetings, on-site and remote
- Represent us at trade fairs, events and customer seminars
- Work with our engineering and support teams to turn customer requirements into solutions
- Support tenders and RFP processes for government and industry customers
- Keep track of market trends, competitors and regulation (e.g. EU drone regulation, government procurement programmes), and report regularly on pipeline and market developments
- Make sure everything you do meets compliance requirements, especially export control and the handling of sensitive customer data
- Have completed commercial or technical vocational training, or hold a degree in a related field (e.g. Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering)
- Have first experience in sales, customer contact or customer service, e.g. through internships, working-student jobs or your first role
- Are confident with MS Office and CRM systems, or quick to learn them
- Communicate well with everyone from end users to public authorities, and are persuasive in negotiations
- Work in a structured, independent way, with a hands-on mindset and a team spirit
- Stay focused on your goals under pressure
- Speak German fluently (C2) and English well (C1)
- Hold a valid driving licence (class B) and are happy to travel within Germany and internationally
- An interest in, or experience with, drones, aviation, technology or the security and defense sector
- Experience selling to public authorities or working on public tenders
- Experience with sales tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Drone pilot experience, or willingness to get a qualification such as the EU drone licence
- An entry-level role with real prospects and clear paths to Sales Manager, Key Account Manager or Business Development
- A direct line to management and room to help build our sales function
