From the employer
What Do We Do?
Triple Whale is the AI operating system built for modern ecommerce. We help you see what's actually working in your business, what's not, and what to do next. Then we take action for you — pausing the underperforming ad, generating the next batch of creative, flagging the inventory risk before it bites.
We pull every signal in your business into one place, and put it on the most trusted measurement foundation in the industry. And on top of that, we give you the most actionable AI in commerce — Moby 2 — letting you tap any LLM you want, grounded in the full context of your business. Moby 2 doesn't just surface insights, it executes decisions for you, with automations that make the rest of your stack smarter.
The result: more than 65,000 brands like Kitsch, OUAI, and True Classic turn mountains of complex data into actions that actually grow profit, at a speed and scale that is not humanly possible.
What You're Applying for
We’re looking for an Account Executive based in the UK to build our business in France and win new French advertisers. You’ll bring an established network of relationships with ecommerce brands and the people responsible for their growth. You’ll use those relationships to open relevant conversations, identify business challenges Triple Whale can help solve and own the commercial process through to close.
This is a business-building role, not an inbound-led sales position. You won’t wait for leads or rely solely on SDR support. You’ll create your own pipeline through your existing network, targeted outreach, referrals and new relationships across the French ecommerce market.
We’re looking for someone who can open doors and win the business that follows. Your network will help you get started, but your ability to develop new relationships and build a repeatable sales approach will drive longer-term success.
What You’ll Do
- Own new business revenue in France. Manage opportunities across your assigned territory, from prospecting and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close.
- Build a proactive pipeline. Generate opportunities through direct relationships with advertisers, targeted outbound activity, referrals and relevant local partners.
- Develop a focused territory plan. Identify and prioritise advertisers that fit Triple Whale’s customer profile, with a clear understanding of their business, relevant stakeholders and potential needs.
- Sell against a specific business problem. Understand how a prospect measures performance, makes decisions and manages recurring work. Establish what isn’t working, who is affected and why solving it matters now.
- Build relationships across the buying group. Engage founders, ecommerce leaders, marketing teams, finance stakeholders and other decision-makers where relevant.
- Build credible business cases. Connect the proposed investment to outcomes the customer values, using agreed evidence and clear assumptions rather than broad promises.
- Run relevant demonstrations and evaluations. Work with Solutions and Product specialists to demonstrate how Triple Whale addresses the prospect’s agreed priorities.
- Develop the French commercial network. Build relationships with agencies, technology partners and ecommerce communities that can generate relevant introductions to advertisers. Represent Triple Whale at selected meetings and events, ensuring clear commercial follow-up.
- Manage the commercial process and customer handover. Confirm budgets, decision-makers, procurement requirements and timelines. Maintain accurate forecasts and document the agreed scope, customer expectations and success criteria following the sale.
- Improve how we win business in France. Share recurring buyer needs, objections, competitive insights and successful approaches with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product.
What You’ll Bring
- An established, active network of relationships with French advertisers, including decision-makers within ecommerce brands. Agency relationships are valuable but should complement direct access to advertisers.
- A proven track record of generating and closing your own business. You can clearly explain which opportunities you personally sourced and how you converted them into revenue.
- Experience in target-carrying B2B sales, with responsibility for winning new customers rather than primarily managing existing accounts.
- Strong discovery skills. You can move beyond an initial conversation or product interest to uncover the underlying business problem and qualify whether there is a genuine opportunity.
- Confidence in managing the full sales cycle, including demonstrations, business cases, negotiation and closing.
- A practical approach to territory development. You can prioritise accounts, test messaging and develop opportunities without relying on an established local sales operation.
- Sound commercial judgement and strong organisational discipline. You know when to pursue an opportunity, when to involve a specialist and how to maintain accurate CRM records, next steps and forecasts.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written French and English is essential.
