  • Own store conversion from first visit through checkout, improving navigation, product pages, comparison tools, cart and search

  • Set baselines, run controlled tests when traffic allows, and advise Sales on how offers and bundles appear in the store

  • You have delivered improvements to an online purchasing journey and can walk through several examples and their outcomes

About the Role
Omada Store is our direct-to-buyer channel in the United States. We sell business networking and security products to the people who install them — installers, MSPs and system integrators — and, increasingly, to the small business owners buying for their own office, shop, restaurant or warehouse.

These are considered purchases. Orders run into the hundreds of dollars, buyers compare against alternatives, and many of them are not networking experts. Most of the people who land on our store are genuinely interested — and most of them still leave without ordering. Closing that gap is this role.

You will own the buying experience end to end: find where it breaks down, decide what to change, and see those changes through to live. Not a research role that hands over a deck, and not a store administrator who executes someone else's list — you bring the evidence, you make the call, and you drive it through design, engineering and agency partners until it ships and you can show what it moved.

What You'll Own

  • The buying experience, and the number that measures it. Own conversion from landing to completed order, and the store experience that determines it — navigation and collection structure, product pages, comparison and selection aids, cart and checkout, on-site search.
  • Finding the friction, with evidence. Funnel analysis, session recordings, on-site search logs, checkout drop-off, pre-sales and support question mining, and direct customer input through surveys or interviews. Know the difference between a real problem and a personal preference.
  • Making it ship. Write the requirement, prioritize honestly against effort, and work it through design, IT and our agency partners to launch — then verify it actually helped. A recommendation that never goes live is worth nothing here.
  • Reducing the evaluation burden. Our buyers are choosing between systems, not products: help them compare models, understand compatibility and deployment scenarios, size what they need, and reach a human when they want one. Make the trust signals (case studies, reviews, warranty, US support) do real work.
  • Scenario-based pages. Build and iterate pages for specific buying situations — small office and retail Wi-Fi, restaurant and warehouse deployments, camera plus network projects — so search intent lands somewhere that answers it.
  • Experiment discipline. Set the baseline before you change anything. Run structured tests (A/B or holdout) where volume allows, and say plainly when it doesn't. Report lift you can defend.
  • Supporting offers and promotions. Advise on how offers, bundles and pricing are presented on site, and work with Sales so the promotion calendar and the store experience agree with each other. You shape how offers land — you are not the promotion planner.
  • Coherence across the funnel. Partner with paid media and our SEO agency so what an ad or a search result promises is what the page actually delivers.

Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Ownership of an ecommerce growth number. You have been accountable for traffic, new customers or revenue on a store, and can walk through what you tried, what worked and what did not.
  • You have shipped experience changes on an ecommerce or transactional site and can walk through two or three of them: what you saw, what you changed, what happened. Platform-agnostic — we care about the reasoning, not which CMS you used.
  • Evidence-based optimization. You work from research and data to a hypothesis to a change, not from opinion. You can tell a real result from noise and you say so when a test is inconclusive.
  • Both halves of the evidence. Comfortable in analytics (GA4, funnel and cohort analysis) and comfortable with qualitative work — session recordings, usability observation, surveys, talking to actual buyers.
  • You can get things built through other people. Specifying clearly, prioritizing against real constraints, and following through with design, engineering and external agencies until it is live. This is a core requirement, not a soft skill.
  • Considered-purchase judgement. You understand that a buyer spending several hundred dollars on equipment they have to install and live with behaves nothing like an impulse consumer shopper. Experience limited to fast-moving consumer DTC is not enough.
  • Strong written English and direct, clear communication with sales, agencies and cross-functional partners.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Working familiarity with Shopify — enough to know what is native, what needs an app and what needs development, so your specs are realistic
  • Shopify B2B experience (company accounts, catalogs, tax-exempt purchasing)
  • Experience with experimentation or behavioural analytics tooling (for example Optimizely, VWO, Hotjar, Clarity, Microsoft or Google equivalents)
  • Experience selling to small business owners, or to trade and installer audiences
  • Enough working knowledge of paid search and SEO to brief and challenge specialists — you do not need to run them
  • Familiarity with a lifecycle email platform such as Klaviyo, enough to hand repeat-purchase journeys off to automation
  • Interest in networking, Wi-Fi, security cameras or B2B technology products
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

What This Role Is Not

We are being explicit because titles in this space read several ways:

  • Not a store operations or order-management role. You are not the person processing orders, loading products or administering the platform day to day.
  • Not a pure campaign or promotion planner. You inform and shape offers; you do not own the promotional calendar.
  • Not an inside sales or account management role. You are not carrying a book of accounts.
  • Not a research-only role. Insight that does not reach production does not count as delivered.

Benefits

Salary Range: $73,500 - $100,000

  • Fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (partial coverage for dependents)
  • Contributions to 401k funds
  • Bi-annual pay increases
  • Health and wellness benefits, including free gym membership
  • Quarterly team-building events
