From the employer

We’re looking for an AI-forward, growth-oriented, senior B2B Marketing leader to join Timescapes as our Vice President of Marketing. Reporting to the CRO, you’ll define and deliver the marketing vision, building a market leading brand and making a measurable contribution to Timescapes’ business and growth objectives across the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. You’ll drive the full funnel marketing strategy, manage comprehensive planning processes, provide strong team leadership, oversee and actively participate in effective execution across all marketing channels, elevate and scale our marketing ops capabilities and establish robust measurement frameworks to ensure accountability and optimized performance. This is both a senior leadership seat and a hands on builder role.

About the Role:

As the Vice President of Marketing, you’ll build and scale the Timescapes marketing engine in order to increase Timescapes’ brand awareness and preference, and drive growth across North America and APAC. You will be accountable for developing and implementing global and regional full funnel marketing strategies that deliver a measurable contribution to pipeline and revenue generation. This role demands an innovative approach to brand building, deep understanding of B2B sales cycles, strong marketing execution capability, proven ability to lead and inspire a lean, global marketing team and exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. This is a role for someone who wants ownership, proximity to revenue, and the freedom to build a modern marketing engine.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a cohesive global marketing strategy that encompasses brand awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition and customer expansion.
    • Conduct internal and external research and analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats, translating insights into actionable marketing plans.
    • Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team as well as sales and product teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing efforts with sales goals and product roadmaps.
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all global marketing initiatives, providing regular reporting, analysis and insights on campaign and channel effectiveness.
    • Continuously optimize marketing strategies based on performance data, market and stakeholder feedback, and evolving business priorities.

  • Brand Management & Thought Leadership:
    • Own the brand end to end (narrative, identity, voice, and standards).
    • Build and defend a clear, differentiated position and translate it into a story every customer, prospect, partner and new hire instantly understands.
    • Establish the Timescapes brand as a genuine commercial asset: measurable in inbound demand, deal velocity, win rates, and pricing power, not just look and feel.
    • Set and uphold brand standards across every touchpoint so the brand remains coherent and premium as we scale and localize across four markets.
    • Develop and execute thought leadership initiatives, positioning the company as an industry authority, building awareness and preference through content creation, speaking engagements, and media relations.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key industry influencers, analysts, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility and credibility.

  • Global Campaign Management & Execution:
    • Lead and actively participate in the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated global marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing (AEO, SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing), events (trade shows, webinars, hosted events), email marketing, and PR.
    • Develop compelling and consistent messaging and creative assets that resonate with target audiences in different geographies, ensuring brand guidelines are upheld globally.
    • Implement robust lead nurturing programs designed to move prospects through the sales funnel efficiently and effectively.
    • Own and manage the global marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximise return on investment.

  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Recruit, mentor, and lead a lean, high-performing, global marketing team, fostering a culture of ownership, quality, speed and measurable impact.
    • Provide strategic guidance and hands on support to two regional marketing managers (located in Sydney and Plano), helping them to plan, execute, measure and optimize regional marketing plans, and to a Senior Product Marketing Manager (located in Plano).
    • Identify professional development opportunities for team members, nurturing their growth and helping them continue to develop their marketing expertise.
    • Establish clear performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and recognition.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Build strong cross-functional relationships and drive collaboration across the business, particularly with the executive leadership team and Sales, Product & Customer Success leaders and teams.
    • Facilitate effective communication and information flow across teams to ensure alignment on marketing priorities and successful, integrated execution.
    • Build genuine alignment with sales so marketing and revenue operate as one motion.
    • Communicate plans, trade-offs, and results clearly and credibly to leadership and across regions.
    • Establish yourself as a key voice and contributor on the Go-To-Market Management Team.

  • AI and Automation:
    • Leverage, optimize and continuously evolve the marketing tech stack (Automation, CRM & AI tools) to improve marketing efficiency, data accuracy, and lead management.
    • Embed AI across the marketing function (content production, campaign personalization, research, enrichment, reporting, and workflow automation) to help a small team punch far above its weight.
    • Continuously evaluate and adopt tooling that removes manual work and compounds output, while keeping quality and brand integrity high.

Key Measures of Success:

  • Marketing-Sourced & Marketing-Influenced Pipeline & Revenue
  • Cost per Opportunity
  • Cost per Closed Won Project (Deal)
  • Leading Indicators: Volume and cost per MQL & SQL

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who embodies the mindset and behaviours that drive success at Timescapes.

Here’s what “great” looks like in this role:

Innovative:

  • You’re looking forward, not back. You consistently identify and explore new ideas, tools and perspectives that may lead to improved business outcomes.

Analytical & Data-Driven:

  • You are analytical and obsessively data-driven, with a rapid test-learn-iterate mindset.

Track Record of Success:

  • You’ve consistently achieved outstanding results and delivered measurable impact in past Marketing leadership roles at high-growth tech companies. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are known for “getting things done” with the ability to work through ambiguity and deliver results collaboratively and creatively, at pace.

Curiosity:

  • You ask smart questions, actively listen, and work to deeply understand our business and our customers.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading and scaling B2B marketing at a VP or senior director level, ideally in SaaS, technology, or a technical/industrial B2B space, with demonstrated success in North America and APAC.
  • Experience standing up a marketing function, or reshaping one for scale.
  • A strong track record building and running ABM programs that demonstrably created and influenced pipeline.
  • Deep events and field marketing experience, with clear evidence of event-driven revenue.
  • Genuine marketing operations fluency. Comfortable in the CRM and marketing stack, confident with attribution, funnel metrics, and data quality, and able to build reporting yourself.
  • Demonstrated use of AI and automation to increase output and efficiency, not just experimentation.
  • Experience marketing across multiple regions or countries, with the cultural and commercial awareness to localize without fragmenting the strategy.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management: you build trust quickly with executives and sales leaders and keep cross-functional partners aligned.
  • A player-coach mindset: strategic enough to set direction, hands-on enough to execute in a lean team, and comfortable operating without a large support structure.
  • Clear, credible communication and strong commercial instincts.
  • Experience supporting strategic channel partners.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently, within North America and to APAC

Bonus Points

  • Experience in Construction tech
