Responsibilities

  • Manage Governance Approval Processes: Lead the governance review and approval process for customer-facing communications distributed to Texas Capital Consumer clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and business requirements.
  • Oversee Customer Communications: Manage the end-to-end governance of customer communication journeys, including regulatory disclosures, customer notices, key announcements, surveys, and other client-facing messaging.
  • Develop Customer-Focused Content: Create, review, and refine clear, concise, and customer-centric content for digital, print, and operational communication channels, including support materials, templates, disclosures, and customer notices.
  • Partner Across the Organization: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, legal, compliance, risk, marketing, and operational partners to understand business objectives and deliver effective customer communications.
  • Establish Content Standards: Develop, maintain, and govern content standards, disclosure guidelines, templates, and documentation to promote consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance across customer communications.
  • Drive Content Optimization: Evaluate customer feedback, business insights, performance metrics, regulatory guidance, and industry best practices to recommend and implement communication improvements.
  • Execute Data Validation Strategies: Develop and maintain validation processes and controls to support the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of customer communications.
  • Monitor Program Performance: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators to measure program effectiveness and ensure alignment with business goals and customer outcomes.
  • Manage Governance Processes and Procedures: Create, maintain, and continuously improve policies, procedures, workflows, and controls supporting the Consumer Governance Collateral Program.
  • Reduce Communication Risk: Promote consistency across customer-facing communications and mitigate risk associated with fragmented, inaccurate, or non-compliant content.
  • Influence and Advocate: Clearly communicate recommendations, governance decisions, and rationale to stakeholders while advocating for customer-focused and compliant communication practices.
  • Maintain Industry and Regulatory Expertise: Stay current on evolving banking regulations, consumer disclosures, governance practices, content design trends, and industry standards impacting customer communications.
  • Present with Confidence and Credibility: Deliver clear, concise, and impactful presentations to stakeholders and leadership, demonstrating sound judgment and governance expertise.
  • Maintain Brand and Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all customer-facing communications align with established brand standards, governance requirements, regulatory obligations, and customer experience principles.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but commensurate work experience will be considered
  • Must have at least 3-5 years operational banking experience with a focus on consumer banking
  • Ability to be well organized, team-player, motivated and flexible with working hours
  • High proficiency in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to thrive in a challenging fast paced work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively and build relationships both internally and externally
  • Must be flexible and adjust to schedule and adapt to changing business priorities
