About the Role
We’re looking for a Community Manager to join the SolarBalls and RunMonsterRun team and help keep our community and content operations running smoothly. As the role has grown, we’re looking for someone who can take ownership of some of the more mechanical and time-consuming tasks, while also bringing creativity and fresh ideas to the table.
You’ll work closely with the existing Community Manager on everything from RMR and SolarBalls Shorts localization and leak reporting to brainstorming Quirk-A-Thons, announcements, activities, and promotional content. The goal is to become a trusted partner who can help keep the community active, organized, and engaged.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Community Manager to brainstorm and develop titles, announcements, and promotional content for SolarBalls and RMR.
- Collaborate with the Community Manager to create and maintain a content calendar around important dates, holidays, and relevant community moments, as well as coordinate events and contests.
- Brainstorm and help develop daily Quirk-A-Thons and other community activities for RMR.
- Support leak reporting and removal, helping ensure unauthorized content is identified and addressed promptly.
- Support the execution and coordination of community initiatives and recurring content-related tasks.
- Monitor and respond to operational community needs, escalating issues when necessary.
- Provide short-term coverage for the Community Manager to maintain continuity during vacation or other periods of absence.
About You
- Experience in community management, social media, content operations, or a similar role, ideally within entertainment, gaming, YouTube, or digital media.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage recurring tasks consistently without losing track of deadlines.
- Comfortable working with content platforms and handling repetitive operational workflows such as uploading, adapting, and organizing content.
- Creative and proactive, with the ability to contribute ideas for community activities, announcements, titles, and promotional content.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to adapt content for different audiences and platforms.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with another Community Manager.
- Able to quickly learn new tools, workflows, and platform-specific processes.
What Makes This Role Exciting
- Help shape and grow an active entertainment community while working closely with an experienced Community Manager.
- Have a mix of operational, creative, and community-focused responsibilities rather than a purely administrative role.
- Contribute directly to content ideas, community activities, and promotional initiatives.
- Become an important part of the team by providing additional capacity and ensuring continuity when the Community Manager is unavailable.
