JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a creative, organised and curious Digital Marketing Intern to support our marketing and social media activities. This role is ideal for someone with a background or interest in marketing who enjoys creating content, keeping up with digital trends and learning how campaigns come together.

You’ll work closely with the marketing team across social media, content creation, digital campaigns and reporting, gaining hands-on experience across different areas of digital marketing.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing and social media campaigns.
  • Create and edit engaging photo and video content for social media and digital platforms
  • Assist with content calendars, campaign planning and day-to-day social media activities
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, formats, platform updates and emerging content styles
  • Support the team with campaign research, competitor research and audience insights
  • Assist with campaign reporting, data tracking and basic performance analysis
  • Maintain and organise marketing assets, content files and campaign documentation
  • Support administrative and coordination tasks across ongoing marketing projects
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to develop creative ideas and execute campaigns

ABOUT YOU:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Marketing, Communications, Media, Business or related degree/diploma, or have a strong interest/background in marketing
  • Experience with social media and content creation, whether through internships, university projects, personal projects or other relevant experience
  • Strong photo and video editing skills and proficiency in at least one content creation/editing tool such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
  • Good understanding of social media platforms, content formats and current digital trends
  • A creative thinker with a good eye for content and an ability to come up with fresh ideas
  • Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to find solutions and figure things out independently
  • Willing to learn and comfortable picking up new tools, platforms and skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and handling basic data and numbers
  • A strong team player who communicates well and is happy to support others when needed
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
