As Business Development Manager Industrial Testing, you will drive the growth of our Industrial Testing business through market development, strategic customer engagement, and close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and local business units. Leveraging your technical and commercial expertise, you will identify new opportunities, shape market strategies, and support profitable growth across global markets.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive business development activities across Industrial Testing markets, owning market analysis, identifying and converting new business opportunities to achieve growth targets.
  • Define target markets, applications, and key accounts, ensuring alignment of sales and marketing activities.
  • Build relationships with strategic customers and ecosystem partners, support key accounts, and coordinate customer engagements globally (up to 20% travel).
  • Act as the technical and commercial expert for Industrial Testing applications, providing market insights, customer analysis, and support to sales teams.
  • Identify customer needs, market trends, competitive gaps, and emerging technologies, translating insights into actionable input for Product Management and new product development.
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Experience in industrial testing, automated testing systems, production engineering, or industrial automation environments.
  • Proven track record in business development, market analysis, and Go-to-Market planning.
  • Strong combination of technical expertise and commercial acumen; additional business or sales knowledge is advantageous.
  • Experience working with industrial technologies, manufacturing processes, and/or IoT-related solutions.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with SAP and CRM systems is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English is required (at least C1 level); German language skills are beneficial and additional languages are an advantage.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented personality with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
