Responsibilities (Typical functions):
Marketing Strategy and Planning
- Collaborate and work with Sinclair's marketing and strategy consulting partner firm to advance and execute our marketing strategy, including establishing quarterly priorities aligned with sales, business, and growth objectives.
- Manage the fiscal-year marketing calendar, coordinating campaigns, product launches, seasonal promotions, vendor initiatives, training/counter days, events, and communications across all 16 branches.
- Manage the marketing budget and vendor co-op funds ensuring timely and effective utilization.
- Use marketing data, sales feedback, and campaign results to identify opportunities, recommend improvements, and establish future marketing priorities.
Brand and Product Marketing
- Lead product and brand marketing across flyers, branch TVs, digital channels, social media, signage, displays, customer communications, and other marketing materials.
- Plan and lead marketing support for product launches, seasonal promotions, vendor programs, and key sales initiatives.
- Ensure Sinclair’s brand standards are consistently applied across all branches and customer-facing materials.
- Manage branded merchandise, promotional materials, signage, and showroom-facing displays within approved budgets.
- Collaborate with sales teams, branch managers, and vendors to develop product marketing materials and marketing briefs that support sales objectives.
Digital Marketing and Social Media
- Ensure a consistent omnichannel brand experience by maintaining current, accurate and professional messaging across all digital and customer-facing channels.
- Collaborate across departments on CRM implementation and strategy to support customer engagement, targeted marketing, lead management, and performance reporting.
- Manage the timely response to Google reviews, customer feedback and inquiries, and social media comments, ensuring all responses align with Sinclair’s brand standards.
- Manage the company website, social media, and digital campaigns using analytics to measure performance.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve digital reach, engagement, customer awareness, and marketing effectiveness.
External and Internal Events
- Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate and promotional events, including counter days, training events, BBQs, vendor events, and the annual dealer trip.
- Coordinate event budgets, logistics, communications, promotional materials, and stakeholder responsibilities to support successful execution.
- Measure attendance, participation, feedback, and other relevant event results and use findings to improve future events.
Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive marketing experience is required.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- B2B, distribution, wholesale, or related industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing marketing budgets, priorities, timelines, vendors, and multiple projects is required.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar marketing and design software is required.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, social media analytics, or other marketing reporting tools to measure results and guide decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and effectively use new systems and digital tools.
- Experience with CRM platforms or CRM implementation is an asset.
