AI Implementation Specialist
Location: Minneapolis Minnesota or Open to all Viking Electric locations
Department: Supply Chain
Reports To: Director of IS and Business Process
Annualized Base Salary: $67,000 - $95,000
*Compensation for this position includes base salary, 10% short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.
Viking Electric is looking for an AI Implementation Specialist to help bring Artificial Intelligence from experimentation to real business impact. In this newly created role, you'll identify opportunities to leverage AI, build practical solutions, train associates, and help establish responsible AI practices across the organization.

What You'll Do
- Lead the rollout and adoption of AI tools and best practices across the organization.
- Design and implement AI-powered workflows, automations, and repeatable solutions.
- Partner with business leaders, IT, and security teams to establish AI governance and responsible-use standards.
- Measure adoption, productivity gains, and ROI while sharing insights with leadership.
- Develop training materials, playbooks, and resources that help associates confidently use AI.
- Stay informed on emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications for the business.
What You Bring
- Experience developing, implementing, or supporting software solutions, or a degree in Computer Science.
- Experience using AI tools and prompt engineering techniques.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Experience creating documentation, procedures, or training materials.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally.
