Role brief

Growth Roles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the technical customer contact during pre-sales and the first project stages
  • Turn customer needs into workable composite solutions using loads, geometry and strength analysis
  • Join Sales in customer discussions, proposal work and commercial negotiations
  • Coordinate early technical work between customers and Jupiter Bach specialists
  • Check technical costs, assess engineering changes and support claims with root-cause analysis

What you bring

  • An engineering background in composites, materials, structures, manufacturing or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience designing and manufacturing composite structures or GFRP products
  • Knowledge of composite loads, geometry, strength assessment and manufacturing processes
  • Relevant work in wind or another technically complex manufacturing setting
  • Professional English plus the ability to balance engineering, operational and commercial needs

Who this fits

This role suits a composites engineer who wants customer-facing responsibility beyond a traditional engineering function. You will work across customers, Sales, Engineering and manufacturing specialists, with technical ownership during pre-sales and early projects. Danish is useful but optional, while English fluency is required; PPAP and APQP4Wind experience is an advantage.

From the employer

Jupiter Bach is taking the next step in its development as a partner to the global wind industry. Building on our strong position within composite manufacturing, we are expanding our capabilities across engineering, assembly and full-system delivery, supporting leading wind OEMs globally.

This means getting involved earlier in the customer dialogue and taking greater ownership of how customer requirements translate into technically sound and commercially viable solutions.

As our new Customer Solutions Engineer, Composites, you will be an important part of that development.

The opportunity

You will work at the intersection of customers, Sales and Engineering, shaping composite solutions from early customer engagement through to handover to Product Execution.

Your role is to understand the customer need, challenge and clarify requirements, and apply your composite engineering expertise to develop the right solution. Working closely with customer technical teams and specialists within Jupiter Bach, you will drive the technical dialogue and pre-project activities while considering both engineering feasibility and commercial implications.

This is a role for an engineer who wants to use technical depth beyond the traditional engineering function. You will be close to the customer, influence solutions at an early stage and help create a strong foundation for successful engineering and execution.

What you will work with

You will take responsibility for the technical side of customer opportunities during pre-sales and early project phases.

A key part of the role will be to:

  • Act as the technical interface towards customers during pre-sales and early project phases

  • Translate customer requirements into feasible composite engineering solutions

  • Apply your understanding of composite structures, loads, geometry and strength to solution development

  • Support Sales in customer meetings, proposals and negotiations

  • Drive pre-project activities and technical alignment between customers and internal specialists

  • Prepare and validate technical cost calculations and provide input to pricing decisions

  • Assess engineering changes and their technical and commercial impact

  • Support customer claims through root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Work within PPAP and APQP4Wind processes to ensure quality and robustness

You will be part of a growing team that combines different technical competencies with ownership of specific customers and opportunities.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an engineer with strong composite expertise who is motivated by applying that knowledge in a customer- and solution-oriented role.

You understand how composite products move from requirements and design through manufacturing and into serial production. Just as importantly, you can communicate your technical knowledge and work effectively with customers, engineers, manufacturing specialists and commercial colleagues.

We expect you to bring:

  • An engineering background in Composites, Materials, Structural or Manufacturing Engineering, or another relevant discipline.

  • Experience with the design and manufacturing of composite structures or GFRP products

  • Understanding of load conditions, geometry and strength evaluation in composite design

  • Relevant experience from the wind industry or another technically complex manufacturing environment

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering interfaces

  • The ability to balance technical, operational and commercial considerations

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Professional fluency in English

Experience with PPAP and APQP4Wind is an advantage. Danish language skills are an advantage but not a requirement.

Why Jupiter Bach?

Jupiter Bach is expanding from a strong composite manufacturing base towards broader engineering and full-system capabilities.

For an experienced composites engineer, this creates an opportunity to move closer to the customer and influence solutions much earlier in the process.

You will join an international organisation working with leading wind OEMs and have the opportunity to contribute directly to how Jupiter Bach develops its future engineering and customer solution capabilities.
