Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic, organized, adaptable, and collaborative Team Lead to direct our Digital Communications Specialists team within the Internal Marketing department. In this role, you will lead a team of five Digital Communication Specialists, managing day-to-day campaign delivery, workload allocation, and cross-functional project execution. You will act as the operational bridge between Project Management, CRM, B2B, and other internal teams, ensuring the successful execution of customer communications across multiple markets. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong planning skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your focus would be on mentoring and building confidence in your team, proactively clarifying ambiguous briefs before work begins, and auditing key risk points (such as canvas target audiences) to prevent launch errors. Additionally, you will lead the rollout of new communication channels, tools, and processes passed down from management.
Responsibilities include:
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support a team of Digital Communication Specialists, fostering a collaborative, solution-oriented environment. Handle direct management duties, including partnering with the Head of Internal Marketing on hiring, as well as leading onboarding, continuous training, performance reviews, and daily task allocations.
Process Compliance & Execution: Ensure the team strictly adheres to established department protocols, QA workflows, and communication standards across all campaign builds.
Brief Review & Technical Feasibility: Evaluate incoming campaign requests from the Project Management team in ClickUp. Proactively identify ambiguous details, missing requirements, or non-feasible technical implementations, collaborating with PMs and stakeholders to refine briefs before task assignment.
Operational Planning & Implementations: Translate strategic directives into actionable operational plans, managing the end-to-end planning, team training, and execution for new channel rollouts, tool integrations, or process updates.
Targeted Quality Audits: Conduct high-value spot checks on upcoming and active campaigns—specifically auditing high-risk areas like audience targeting—to prevent errors and maintain quality.
Technical Guidance & Problem Solving: Act as the primary escalation point for the team on complex campaign queries, helping identify and rectify potential mistakes early in the production cycle.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with Project Managers, CRM, B2B, and creative teams to raise immediate flags when tasks are incomplete or unfeasible, ensuring clear communication across departments.
Issue Resolution & Incident Reporting: Investigate and troubleshoot campaign errors or technical glitches with the team. Assess their operational impact and present clear findings and recommendations to the Deputy Head & Head of Internal Marketing.
Documentation & Knowledge Base Management: Maintain and update team documentation on the company Wiki, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), onboarding guides, and execution steps for new processes.
Ad-Hoc Management Support: Handle special projects, custom operational reporting, and ad-hoc requests as directed by marketing leadership to support evolving business needs.
What we are looking for:
Experience: 2–3+ years in a similar role, with demonstrated success managing project workflows, setting up operational execution plans, and/or mentoring team members.
Experience with engagement platforms, project management software, internal CMS platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong leadership intuition— Proactive in identifying ambiguity and protecting the team from operational roadblocks, while mentoring and building their confidence to identify roadblocks themselves.
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail in high-risk campaign areas.
Calm, level-headed problem solver under stress.
Fluent in English (written and verbal); basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
