The Marketing Services Coordinator performs daily tasks for the Marketing Services and Communications Departments. Some of these duties would include the Special Events response report; off property Reservation coordination; setting up convention and Tour groups in LMS; Assisting with room block management; reviewing reservations including iHotelier and internet reservations for accuracy; processing Player development, Executive and Board reservations; and preparing and execution of Entertainment Will Call. Assist Communications and Marketing Services Reps as needed in answering and processing calls efficiently and professionally. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. Assists the Marketing Services Shift Managers in the day-to-day duties of the departments.
2. Assist in completing reports, monitor online reservation bookings, Will Call preparation, tracking travel agent commissions, off property rooms and other duties.
3. Responsible for the input of Group Sales reservations and room block maintenance.
4. Ensure effective communication of all company and job/service/employee related information to staff and superiors.
5. Conduct and assist in the training and orientation of all new and existing Representatives.
6. Review reservations to ensure bookings meet player rating system requirements. Report any exceptions to management.
7. Assist Representatives in determining qualifications for complimentary services.
8. Assist with answering incoming telephone calls; directs calls and provide requested information in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.
9. Communicate and coordinate with related areas as needed to ensure effective operations.
10. Compile and distribute accurate up to date information concerning events/offers/shows.
11. Promote positive public relations.
12. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free, harassment-free work environment within the areas of responsibility.
13. Cooperate with the Seneca Gaming Authority to ensure compliance with all rules and regulations of the Seneca Gaming Corporation.
14. Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times.
15. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
16. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
17. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
18. Attend all necessary meetings.
19. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.
20. Supports staff in the short term absence of the Marketing Services Shift Manager

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:
1. Must be of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
2. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
3. Minimum of six (6) months experience as a Marketing Services Representative and/or experience with ACSC, LMS, Q-Master phone system.
4. Scheduling flexibility and dependability required.
5. Excellent quantifiable customer service skills and dependability required.
6. Ability to operate a personal computer. Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
7. Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform the required job duties.
8. Must present a professional appearance and demeanor in dealing with the general public.

Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:
1. Must possess excellent communicate skills.
2. Ability to write and to speak routine correspondence. Excellent knowledge of the English grammar, punctuation and spelling.
3. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
4. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Salary Starting Rate:

$16.16

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
