Your Role at Sephora:

As Strategic Sourcing Manager, Marketing & Advertising, you’ll be managing the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, process compliance, and Sephora goals in diversity, risk, and sustainability. The work you do will impact beauty, as you develop annual and multi-year sourcing plans in partnership with business stakeholders, aligning initiatives to business priorities, budget cycles, savings targets, and supplier roadmaps. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the strategic sourcing process for assigned projects—including profiling the supply market, partnering with stakeholders to identify business requirements, and leading RFI/X events using sourcing technology.
  • Score card, gain, and document award decisions using insights throughout the sourcing process, conduct supplier negotiations, finalize contracts, and hand awarded business off to business partners.
  • Use market intelligence, benchmarking, spend analysis, and supplier insights to inform sourcing strategies, negotiation approaches, and category recommendations.
  • Support business partners with sourcing objectives and supplier needs, leveraging the Intake-to-Contract Process and associated tools while creating decision-oriented updates that outline recommendations, tradeoffs, risks, and financial impact.
  • Understand supply markets for respective categories to determine appropriate strategies that optimize supplier capabilities at national and regional levels, and build out strategic sourcing roadmaps in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Support the Senior Manager with broader category support across Marketing and Advertising requirements—including Creative agencies, Influencer marketing, Events, Production, Branded goods, and Media—while identifying leverage spend opportunities to reduce total costs.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of proven success across end-to-end strategic sourcing engagements.
  • 5+ years of sourcing experience with marketing categories across goods and services, preferably with a North American retail organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced analytics, Excel, PowerPoint presentation, data visualization, and sourcing tools skills.
  • Hands-on experience using employee collaboration, procure-to-pay, vendor management, and contract lifecycle management software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder influence skills, with the ability to manage projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Get:

The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000.00 - $151,000.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. This job will be posted for a minimum of five days.
