Role brief

growthroles summary, based on the employer's posting.

What you'll do

  • Set up customer proofs of concept from end to end, including user access, workspace settings and system connections
  • Diagnose setup, product and access problems, then bring in the appropriate internal teams to resolve them
  • Lead the technical parts of customer calls, from administrator walkthroughs to onboarding end users
  • Create setup guides and troubleshooting playbooks that the go-to-market team can reuse
  • Share evidence-based product feedback and work with Product on improvements to setup and new features

What you bring

  • You have one to three years in a customer-facing technical SaaS role, such as implementation, support or pre-sales
  • You can explain technical topics clearly to both technical audiences and business stakeholders
  • You take initiative on active deals and can build processes while working in an environment with limited documentation

Who this fits

This is a customer-facing pre-sales role, not a software engineering position. You’ll suit work that mixes product configuration, customer calls and hands-on deal support, with room to establish processes as you go. The job is hybrid in San Francisco, with three office days each week and Mondays and Wednesdays as anchor days.

From the employer

About Scribe

Scribe is where exceptional people come to do the best work of their careers. More than 94% of the Fortune 500 use Scribe to own their specialized intelligence: the unique way their teams work, decide, and get things done. Our Specialized Intelligence platform automatically captures how work happens and turns it into a living asset for people and AI agents.

We're growing fast. Since our founding in 2019, we've reached 7 million users across 600,000 businesses. Based in San Francisco, we're a LinkedIn Top Startup, valued at over $1B, and backed by leading investors. Join us in our mission to transform how people work.

About the role

As a Product Implementation Specialist, you'll handle the technical setup work that Scribe's enterprise deals depend on. That means getting customers configured correctly during a trial or proof of concept, connecting Scribe to the systems they already use, and ensuring proof of concept engagements can progress successfully. You'll work closely with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers, and you'll spend your time in the product and on calls with customers.

What you'll do

  • Deliver proofs of concept to customers quickly and efficiently, owning user provisioning, workspace configuration, and integration setup end to end

  • Troubleshoot to separate configuration mistakes from product or access issues, and escalate to the right Scribe teams for speedy resolution

  • Run the technical portions of customer calls, including admin walkthroughs and end-user onboarding sessions (you’ll be a product expert!)

  • Produce the configuration guides, troubleshooting runbooks, and documented process the rest of the go-to-market team reuses instead of rebuilding

  • Shorten the time between a customer agreeing to a POC and that POC producing workflow data they can make a decision on

  • Give Product specific, evidenced feedback on where setup friction is costing deals

  • Work directly with Product to get early access to new functionality, and provide input on improvements to the platform

What we're looking for

  • Has 1 to 3 years in a customer-facing technical role at a SaaS company, whether pre-sales, implementation, technical support, or solutions

  • Can explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical business stakeholders

  • Can operate in an environment with limited documented process and is excited to supporting building the process while doing the work

  • Takes ownership over active deals and shows initiative in advancing the deal forward

Nice to have

  • Has used Scribe, or another documentation, enablement, or knowledge management tool, as a customer

  • Has been in the room for an enterprise security review or InfoSec questionnaire

  • Has built something small and working with scripting or AI tooling to solve a problem of your own

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, ServiceNow, or SAP as the systems customers actually run on

This role is not for you if

  • You need a defined playbook and a clear escalation path before you can move

  • You are looking for a software engineering role. This job is technical, but it is a customer-facing pre-sales role.

Why you'll love working here

  • The reach of a unicorn, the headcount of a startup. We went from $1M to $100M ARR in under four years, with fewer than 200 people. That means more pie than people: scope grows with your impact. Customers like T-Mobile, LinkedIn, HubSpot, New York Life and Northern Trust run on Scribe, so what you own reaches some of the biggest names in business.

  • Hard problems, real impact. Capturing how work actually gets done, at scale, is the foundation AI needs, and it's hard to get right. You'll build the layer other products and agents run on, in a category we're still defining.

  • Smart is the floor. Kind is the bar. Low ego, high standards. We compete as a collective and love to see each other win, and One Team, One Dream is one of the most shouted-out values in #values.

Compensation & location

Hybrid, based in San Francisco. We work from the office 3 days per week, with Mondays and Wednesdays being anchor days.
