From the employer
Who Are We?
RZR is an AI-native advertising platform built for the next era of performance marketing. We operate at the intersection of machine learning, programmatic media, and full-funnel mobile growth, powering campaigns for some of the world's most ambitious advertisers. Our platform is purpose-built to deliver outcomes at scale, not just impressions.
We are a team of builders, operators, and technologists who believe the advertising industry is overdue for a fundamental rethink. We move fast, operate with a high degree of ownership, and hold ourselves to an exceptionally high standard of craft.
RZR is scaling aggressively with an active M&A pipeline and a platform vision that puts us on a path to becoming an industry leader. This is a rare opportunity to join a company at an inflection point and help shape what it becomes.
Role Overview
This role runs RZR marketing in China, end to end. It sits between global marketing, sales, and the China partner ecosystem in our most strategic APAC market — and the job is to turn what RZR builds into market-native programs that produce pipeline.
You will work closely with the CMO and the global marketing team to run China as one coordinated demand engine. That means owning our WeChat and Rednote presence, building co-marketing programs with local data and measurement partners, producing our China events end to end, and acting as the voice of China inside the company. Every program should tell the same story: RZR is the go-to performance partner for Chinese advertisers and for chuhai developers going global.
This is a senior IC role. We need someone who thinks like a strategist, operates independently in a market with its own platforms and pace, and connects everything back to revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Channel & Content Leadership
- Run RZR's owned channels in China (WeChat official account, Rednote, China-market newsletters) on a steady publishing rhythm
- Localize global campaigns and create content that reads market-native — translated copy doesn't count
- Keep the RZR brand consistent across every China touchpoint in a market with its own conventions
Partner Co-Marketing
- Build joint content and campaigns with local data and measurement partners (AppsFlyer, Social Peta, Singular) that generate qualified leads at scale
- Own each program from concept and partner negotiation through delivery and lead follow-up
Event Production
- Source, budget, book, and produce RZR's presence at China industry events (ChinaJoy, MAMA China, and similar)
- Own each event from contract through on-site execution to post-event follow-up and survey
Pipeline & Market Intelligence
- Know which marketing touches are influencing pipeline in China — know the top target accounts, including chuhai (出海) developers going global
- Be able to say at any point what a campaign, whitepaper, or event is doing for revenue
- Be the voice of China internally — bring market intelligence, spend recommendations, and a real point of view into global marketing conversations
Regional Coordination
- Stay in step with our India and Korea teams on regional campaigns, event calendars, and partner programs — China is the anchor and the regional picture is part of the job
Required Skills and Experience
Must-Have
- 5+ years in B2B marketing in ad tech, martech, mobile, gaming, or SaaS, with direct experience marketing to app advertisers or developers in China
- Deep fluency with China's digital marketing ecosystem: WeChat official accounts, Rednote, and the domestic event and media landscape
- A track record of content and partner programs that produced measurable leads
- Hands-on event experience, from vendor negotiation and budget management through on-site execution
- Strong commercial instinct — connects marketing activity to pipeline and can tell the revenue story behind the work
- The judgment to operate solo across time zones, escalate early when blocked, and show up with a recommendation instead of a question
- Fluent Mandarin and strong professional English for a global team
Nice-to-Have
- Existing relationships with ad tech partners, publishers, and event organizers in China
- Working knowledge of adjacent APAC markets such as India and Korea
- Familiarity with mobile attribution and analytics tools (Singular, AppsFlyer, Adjust) and CRM tooling (HubSpot)
Work Setup
This is a hybrid role based in Beijing, China, with regular onsite presence required. Candidates must be based in or willing to be based in Beijing, with the right to work in China.
Why Join RZR?
- High visibility with a direct line to the CMO — you will own RZR's most strategic APAC market with full authority over channels, content, partners, events, and pipeline. This is not a regional execution role inside a large marketing team.
- Fresh brand momentum — RZR launched at GDC and MAU 2026. This hire decides how the new brand lands in China from day one, with no inherited playbook to follow.
- Full-stack scope — you run the whole play: channels, content, partners, events, and pipeline attribution. If you want breadth, this role has it.
- Your work shows up in the number — pipeline attribution is part of the job, so revenue leadership sees your impact directly. There is no question about whether marketing is making a difference.
- Senior, low-bureaucracy team — with design, content, and events support behind you, and a global team that moves fast and trusts the people closest to the market.
