Who We're Looking for:
As Paid Social Marketing Manager, US and International, you'll lead paid media strategy across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and emerging platforms such as Twitch. You'll manage a full-funnel budget: high-efficiency direct response campaigns at the lower funnel, brand-building and awareness work at the upper funnel, across the US, Canada, UK, and emerging EU markets. Reporting to the Director of Upper Funnel Marketing, you'll sit at the intersection of performance marketing, brand storytelling, and influencer partnerships, making sure the paid budget amplifies what's already working organically and while ensuring a cohesive brand experience across marketing touchpoints.
This is a hybrid position that has the minimum expectation to work out of our Downtown Seattle Office two days per week on Mondays and Thursdays. For this reason, candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle Area or willing to relocate.Your Responsibilities:

Own new-customer and awareness goals for your channels across the US, Canada, UK, and emerging EU markets, holding CAC to the LTV-based payback target for each channel.

Plan, build, and optimize paid social campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager etc. owning budget pacing, audience strategy, and creative testing.

Own organic campaign boosting. Partner with Brand (Organic) Social team to find top-performing organic posts and creator content to extend their reach and get the most value out of every partnership.

Build and maintain one shared campaign calendar that lines up with influencer and brand social drops so a campaign launch reads as one story wherever a customer sees it.

Brief creative and run a structured testing framework across taglines, formats, and audiences. Use data, not gut feel, to decide what scales and what gets cut.

Responsible for reporting across paid and boosted content, turning metrics such as CAC, ROAS, reach (views/impressions) and engagement rate into strong recommendations for leadership.

Track platform changes and best practices on Meta, Reddit,Snapchat and TikTok, covering attribution, privacy, and new ad formats, and translate what they mean for media buying and for influencer partnership terms such as usage rights, disclosure, and contracts.

Work with Brand, Influencer, and PR to keep messaging consistent everywhere a pet parent might find us.

Run incrementality tests for your channels working alongside Marketing Analytic team mates, including geo-uplift studies and MMM holdouts. Use the results to prove which spend drives real new customers, not organic or brand halo effects.

Manage day-to-day relationships with paid social agency partners, holding them accountable for strategy, execution, and performance against goals.
Your Qualifications:

8+ years managing $5M+ paid social budgets across Meta, Reddit, Snapchat and TikTok, with a track record of balancing direct response and upper-funnel brand metrics.

Experience executing campaigns across the US and international regions, specifically Canada, the UK, and the EU.

Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and translating platform jargon into clear, high-level recommendations.

Bachelor's degree required. A master's degree in a quantitative or business field is a plus, and equivalent work experience counts too.

Direct experience managing agencies, running RFP processes, validating their work, and holding them accountable.

Experience working alongside influencer and creator marketing. You know the difference between paid social, paid partnerships, and whitelisting, and you understand usage rights.

A track record with ecommerce or marketplace brands, fluent in both funnel metrics such as ROAS, CAC, LTV, and CPM, and brand health metrics such as awareness and consideration.

Measurement Fluency: Hands-on experience implementing geo-uplift testing and turning MMM results into action.

Creative Cohesion: A strong grasp of the customer journey and why consistency matters. You architect one organic and paid perspective across every customer touchpoint.

Channel Expertise: A strong point of view on channel and creative best practices, backed by data, that you're comfortable advocating for.

FTC Expertise: Fluency in platform ad policies and FTC disclosure requirements for creator and whitelisted content.

Collaboration: A genuinely collaborative streak. You work fluently with Brand and Marketing Data Science, speaking creative or data depending on the audience, and you'd rather build one great campaign with three teams than guard your own lane.

Compensation:
- In the greater Seattle area the first-year salary range is $129,139-$171,755. Additionally, Rover offers benefits to full-time employees.
