Who this fits

This junior role suits someone who likes hands-on execution, takes responsibility for follow-through, and looks for ways to improve how work gets done. You’ll work remotely from the Philippines, with room to take on more responsibility over time.

From the employer

Rockstar is recruiting for a dynamic, fast-moving startup that is building a platform to help companies scale their go-to-market efforts. The client is an early-stage company focused on growth and innovation, offering a collaborative and remote-friendly environment where team members take ownership and drive impact.

About the Role

The company is looking for a hungry, high-potential Growth Associate to help run and scale its go-to-market engine.

The role involves taking ownership of existing growth initiatives, from LinkedIn outreach and client referrals to reactivation campaigns and content, and turning them into repeatable systems that consistently generate new business.

GTM is part execution, part strategy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable putting in the work to get results, whether that’s running outreach campaigns, following up with prospects, coordinating client introductions, or keeping growth operations running smoothly. But the company also wants someone who thinks beyond the task at hand: someone who spots bottlenecks, asks good questions, and figures out how to make things work better.

The company is open to folks from a variety of backgrounds. It will teach its platform, processes, and tools. What matters most is how the candidate thinks, how quickly they learn, and what they do when given ownership of a problem.

What You’ll Do

Own Customer Acquisition

  • Run LinkedIn and email outreach campaigns, from prospecting and connection requests to follow-ups and ongoing engagement
  • Manage the prospect pipeline and ensure opportunities are tracked and followed through
  • Identify ways to improve targeting, messaging, and outreach processes to generate more customer opportunities

Own Referral and Reactivation Channels

  • Run campaigns to re-engage existing and past clients and uncover new business opportunities
  • Coordinate client introductions and referrals, making it easy for clients to connect the company with people in their networks
  • Develop repeatable processes that turn client relationships into a consistent source of new business

Run and Improve Growth Systems

  • Take ownership of recurring GTM activities and make sure they run consistently
  • Build and improve workflows, templates, trackers, and documentation to make processes more efficient
  • Track results, identify bottlenecks, and test ways to improve performance
  • Take on operational projects that help the company acquire customers more effectively

Coordinate Across Teams

  • Work with Talent Partners to understand client satisfaction and identify the right opportunities and timing for client outreach
  • Keep growth initiatives organized, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

Manage Content and Engagement

  • Coordinate the company’s weekly LinkedIn content, including posts highlighting open roles
  • Maintain a consistent publishing process and look for ways to improve reach and engagement

Who You Are

  • Hungry and driven: You want to do great work, take on responsibility, and see the results of your efforts. You’re willing to put in the work, including the unglamorous parts.
  • Smart and resourceful: You learn quickly, think critically, and can figure things out even when there’s no obvious answer.
  • An owner, not just an executor: You take responsibility for outcomes, follow through on commitments, and don’t need someone constantly checking on you.
  • Analytical and curious: You want to understand why something works, not just whether it does. You notice patterns, ask good questions, and look for ways to improve.
  • Organized and reliable: You can juggle recurring responsibilities, manage details, and make sure important things don’t slip through the cracks.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: You enjoy working in a fast-moving startup where priorities can change and there’s always something new to figure out.
  • A strong communicator: You can write clearly and communicate proactively.

You don’t need prior experience in growth, sales, or marketing. The company is open to candidates from any background and cares much more about your potential, work ethic, and ability to learn than your resume.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of work experience. Exposure to growth, sales, marketing, or business development is a plus but is not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to write clear, engaging, and natural-sounding messages.

What You’ll Gain

  • Direct exposure to how an early-stage startup builds and scales its GTM engine
  • Meaningful ownership over initiatives that directly contribute to company growth
  • The opportunity to work closely with company leadership and learn through hands-on problem-solving
  • Room to grow into greater responsibility as the company expands
