About Revalia Bio

Revalia is generating the human data that AI models of human biology need. We keep donated, non-transplantable human organs functioning on our proprietary perfusion technology and measure how they behave and respond to medicines, producing data that is not available from other sources.

We are building this data to train AI models of human biology, with the aim of making drug discovery faster, safer and less costly. Our perfusion data is already becoming part of biopharma programs built on new approach methodologies (NAMs), and it supports IND filings and decisions to begin human clinical trials.

A Yale spinout headquartered in New Haven, CT, we are backed by $20M in venture funding and $30M in government contracts, including an ARPA-H award.

The role

Our first Head of Product will own the vision and roadmap across the Human Data Trial lifecycle, from organ offer to partner insight. This is a hands-on role: you'll set direction with the CEO, define requirements, shape design, work daily with engineering to ship, and mentor junior team members.

  • Reports to: CEO
  • Location: New Haven, CT or Indianapolis, IN preferred; remote considered, with regular travel

Product areas you'll own

  • Organ acceptance and recovery: evaluating OPO offers, matching organs to studies, and capturing donor data.
  • Perfusion software: running, monitoring and recording multi-day ex vivo perfusions.
  • Study design: turning bespoke studies into standardized, configurable offerings.
  • Lab and data generation: sample, assay and imaging pipelines that produce clean, traceable data.
  • Data and insight delivery: reports, partner portals, and future data sets and models.

What you'll do

  • Set the product vision and roadmap, connecting today's perfusion studies to tomorrow's data and AI products.
  • Translate customer, scientific and operational needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead discovery and design with users: perfusionists, scientists, OPO coordinators and partner teams.
  • Work daily with engineering to plan, build and ship, owning the backlog and release decisions.
  • Define how data is captured and quality-controlled so it's ready for reports, data products and modeling.
  • Align leadership, operators, partners and commercial teams on what we build and why.
  • Mentor junior team members and set up lightweight product processes that scale.

What you bring

  • 8+ years in product management, including 3+ years leading products end to end.
  • Significant life sciences experience (drug discovery or development, lab operations, clinical research or medical devices), and fluency working with scientists and clinicians.
  • Track record shipping complex products spanning software, hardware and data, working daily with engineering.
  • Strong requirements, workflow-mapping and design skills, with the technical depth to discuss data models and architecture.
  • Experience engaging senior external stakeholders and thriving in a fast-growing startup.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science field (or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Background in drug discovery and development, toxicology, ADME or similar life science experience.
  • Experience with scientific data platforms (LIMS, ELN) or GLP and 21 CFR Part 11 environments.
  • Experience productizing data or AI/ML for biopharma.
  • An advanced degree (PhD, MD, MS or MBA).
