Who this fits
This suits a production-focused designer who understands how artwork behaves as a physical object, not only on a screen. You should be comfortable with print specifications, fabricated assets, client feedback and collaboration across project teams. The role is fully remote from the Philippines, and initial interviews take place in US Mountain Standard Time between 3:00 AM and 1:00 PM MST.
From the employer
Your files become physical objects in front of an audience. That is a different job from designing for a screen.
Our client works at the intersection of live events, branding and experiential delivery, producing branding and signage, custom fabrication and on-site event execution for major properties in sports and entertainment. The work is physical and it is dated: artwork becomes a printed object on a wall, a stage or a concourse, and it either arrives right or it arrives wrong in front of an audience.
This is a production design seat, not a screen design seat. You take creative from concept through to production-ready artwork for small- and large-format branding and signage, you build 2D elements and textures for the render team to place into 3D layouts, and you prepare, correct and troubleshoot files so they meet real print specifications: bleeds, colour profiles, resolution at scale, print marks, cut paths.
You will also build templates for fabricated builds, pull dimensions out of SketchUp, Fusion or CAD drawings, and give and take creative direction across project managers, account teams, producers and other designers. If you have spent your career designing for screens, this will be a harder job than it looks. If you have sent files to a large-format printer and had them come back, you already know exactly what this role is.

What Makes You a Great Fit

- You build at scale without being told to, and you know what your scale factor does to resolution

- You know that a 300 dpi rule learned for brochures is the wrong rule for a twenty-foot banner
- You can design something interesting inside a brand book that gives you two colours and one typeface
- You take a rejection, ask one clarifying question, and come back with the right version rather than a defence
- You will tell a project manager that something is going to print wrong, even when it is easier not to
