Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and proactive student to join our Space Equipment Repository Database Project as a Market Research Intern. This role involves creating a comprehensive company-wide catalogue of space equipment and suppliers, with a focus on sourcing technical parameters and developing a user-friendly database integrated with our company SharePoint.
Responsibilities:
- Create a detailed company-wide catalogue of space equipment and their suppliers, including key technical parameters.
- Collaborate with the team to select the appropriate tool and build a pragmatic and user-friendly database solution.
- Ensure the database meets all requirements, including SharePoint integration and referencing relevant documentation.
- Independently research and locate internally available data, as well as explore the market for additional equipment possibilities.
- Organize periodic progress review meetings with stakeholders to ensure the project remains on track.
- Plan and conduct a company-wide session to introduce the tool, including creating presentation materials for future reference.
Required Skills:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
- Proactive and accountable, with a passion for space exploration.
