The National Account Manager of P&C is responsible for driving volume growth, market share and profitability across key accounts, while effectively managing approved permanent discounts and joint advertising targets. The role plays a critical part in the execution of Red Bull Australia’s Impulse channel business plan strategies, and also the delivery against ‘perfect store’ targets for the responsible accounts.

EXECUTION OF PROMOTIONAL PROGRAMS

  • Develop and execute national promotional programs across key accounts.
  • Provide accurate promotional forecasts, manage related financial claims, and oversee account investment.
  • Deliver promotional activity in line with Impulse channel objectives and annual business plan targets.
  • Discuss and negotiate promotional space in line with your key activation months.
  • Analyse promotional performance and deliver insights and recommendations to maximise future ROI and sales effectiveness.

VOLUME, FORECAST & TRADE INVESTMENT DELIVERY

  • Deliver the monthly business plan financial sales volume in serving units across all key accounts.
  • Manage account forecasts and actively contribute to the S&OP process to ensure accurate demand planning.
  • Manage trade investment in line with approved budgets, including permanent discounts and joint advertising commitments.
  • Communicate account performance, forecasts and key initiatives to relevant stakeholders and field teams in a timely manner.

DEVELOP AND EXECUTE NATIONAL ACCOUNT PLANS, ACHIEVING RED BULL'S KEY SUCCESS MEASURES

  • Drive distribution growth by delivering range targets and maximising product availability across key accounts and states.
  • Increase brand visibility through the achievement of ambient and chilled space targets across the portfolio.
  • Define and communicate pricing strategy by channel and by pack type.
  • Identify, implement and continuously optimise promotional mechanics to drive account performance and sales growth.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ENGAGEMENT

  • Partner with Category Management to translate sales and shopper insights into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate with Finance to monitor customer P&L performance and ensure delivery against business plan objectives.
  • Manage customer investment and spend effectively, including forecasting, accruals and budget reconciliation.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions through the S&OP process.
  • Support State Account teams with clear communication, guidance and effective regional operations briefings.

ACTIVATION OF THE WORLD OF RED BULL IN SELECTED KEY ACCOUNTS

  • Partner with the Brand team to deliver impactful customer and brand activations that bring the Red Bull brand to life in line with company standards.
  • Activate off-location displays, and improve visibility through the field teams of these major events.

SUPPORT CATEGORY RANGE REVIEWS

  • Support the Category Management team with account-specific data.
  • Communicate ranging gains, losses and changes effectively across the business to ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Support the successful launch and sell-in of new products, packs and innovations within customer portfolios.
  • Contribute to planogram development and range optimisation strategies that enhance distribution, visibility and sales performance.
  • 5+ years’ of FMCG Account Management experience in P&C
  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to build mutually beneficial partnerships and deliver win-win outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound understanding of category management, sales, marketing and financial principles
  • Strong planning, organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
