Job Description
The Marketing Specialist - Social Media supports the day-to-day execution of Rally House's organic social media strategy across national, regional, and store-level channels. This role helps strengthen brand awareness, customer engagement, and store traffic through timely, relevant, and locally focused social content. This position collaborates with marketing, creative, ecommerce, merchandising, store, and partnerships teams to plan, publish, and monitor content tied to sports moments, product launches, seasonal initiatives, store openings, partnerships, and community programs.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of Rally House's organic social media strategy across national, regional, and store-level channels
- Assist with social content planning, scheduling, and quality control across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and emerging channels
- Create and curate engaging social content for sports moments, product launches, seasonal initiatives, store openings, and community programs
- Maintain the social content calendar and help coordinate timely content needs, approvals, and asset collection
- Support localized social content by working with store teams, regional marketing, and creative partners to source photography, video, user-generated content, and fan stories
- Monitor sports moments, social trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to identify timely content opportunities
- Assist with real-time and reactive content during live sports moments, trending topics, product drops, and key brand events
- Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, and escalate customer concerns or brand reputation issues as needed
- Support influencer, creator, ambassador, and campus initiatives through outreach, coordination, content tracking, and reporting
- Collaborate with paid media, CRM, creative, ecommerce, merchandising, stores, and partnerships teams to ensure social content aligns with broader marketing priorities
- Ensure social content follows Rally House brand standards, approved messaging, and platform best practices
Skills and Knowledge
Ability to create engaging written and visual content tailored to different audiences and platforms, Ability to review social media analytics and identify basic performance trends and opportunities, Creative mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to collaborate across teams, Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, Strong awareness of social trends, sports culture, and real-time content opportunities, Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities, Working knowledge of major social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and XQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, communications, content creation, or a related field
- Experience creating content for social media through coursework, internships, freelance work, or professional roles preferred
- Experience in sports, retail, entertainment, or another fast-paced consumer environment preferred
Physical Requirements
