Job Summary
Acts as a student ambassador supporting and representing the brand of Purdue Dining & Culinary by promoting current initiatives, gathering /reporting customer feedback, answering questions and staying current on Purdue Dining & Culinary services, and participating in information fairs and recruiting efforts. Creates content for all social media channels, blogs, and articles including photos and live video coverage, social media contests, ongoing weekly promotions. Assists with the planning and execution of special meals, staff retreats, and other events to support Dining & Culinary. Needs to be able to work up to 10 hours per week. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency on multiple social media platforms.
- Current Purdue student, Freshman/Sophomore/Junior, in good standing
- Minimum of 1 semester experience on campus, preferably living in University Residences.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain professional presence while interacting with customers.
