From the employer
We’re looking for a Brand & Communications Assistant (student role) to help tell the stories of PSV and the startup founders we invest in.
Who we are
At PSV, we back founders who build companies that matter.
We operate as a venture house: a collective of funds designed to strengthen both the tech startups we invest in and the ecosystem they grow in. With 25 years of early stage investments and nearly 500 startup journeys behind us, we have plenty of stories to tell.
But don’t worry… you don’t need a background in venture capital, or any other kind of finance. If you bring your curiosity and full stack of communication skills, then we’ll share heaps of industry knowledge along the way.
The role
You’ll be part of a small but high-impact Brand & Communications team, where your job is to help turn complexity into clarity. That could mean telling a founder’s story, making a new technology easier to understand or explaining why European tech sovereignty matters.
You’ll work across both strategy and execution, helping shape how we communicate and position ourselves while bringing those ideas to life through tasks such as:
Content and storytelling: Writing and developing content for PSV and our portfolio companies, including founder stories, investment announcements, thought leadership and press releases.
Brand and visual communication: Helping keep our tone of voice and visual identity consistent including designing content, building presentation decks etc.
Communication planning: Supporting the translation of brand and communication strategies into strong initiatives and activations.
Events: Helping plan and execute events that bring founders, investors and the wider ecosystem together.
In short: you'll get to do a bit of everything and can expect real responsibility from day one, with sparring and feedback from the team along the way.
If this fits you, you fit us
We’re not looking for a perfect CV. We’re looking for potential, curiosity, and drive. You might be a good fit if you:
Are preferably studying a bachelor’s degree, but master’s students are also welcome (e.g. within communication or business-related fields). We also love a good surprise, so if you come from a different background, don’t hold back.
Can make our communication exciting in both Danish and English.
Can work with tone of voice and bring personality into your writing.
Are curious about venture, tech, and the people pushing ideas forward.
Are structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks.
Are visually minded, with a sense of what works (and what looks good).
Know your way around tools like PowerPoint, and maybe Figma, Claude design and/or Photoshop.
What it’s like working at PSV
At PSV, we take our work seriously, but not ourselves.
You’ll be working alongside sharp, ambitious and occasionally slightly quirky minds: People who care deeply about what they do and the footprint they leave in the world. We value curiosity and ownership, and people who can zoom out to see the bigger picture while still executing in the details.
Our office is more than milestones and meetings. Lunches together, Friday bars, chats by the coffee machine, or a game of ping-pong are all a part of what makes the workplace come alive.
Application
Big ideas and bold people, with room for your studies. This is a 15–20 hours/week student role, with flexibility around exams and holidays.
If this sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to hear from you. We review applications on an ongoing basis, so don’t wait too long.
