The Senior Assistant Manager, Brand & Digital Communications leads high-impact brand and digital initiatives for NBS. Working closely with the Senior Assistant Director, Brand Communications, this role translates school-level strategies into integrated communications programmes that strengthen NBS's visibility, positioning, and digital performance. The role combines execution excellence with strategic input on brand application, digital optimisation, and performance measurement.
Responsibilities:
Branding
Lead end-to-end delivery of flagship brand initiatives and high-profile College activities, managing vendor coordination, logistics, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance.
Research market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to inform brand strategy and campaign decisions.
Act as brand guardian, ensuring all NBS activations align with brand standards and positioning across communications, campaigns, and internal/external touchpoints.
Develop and execute brand content for social and digital platforms to support campaign objectives and NBS positioning.
Coordinate with various teams within NBS and central functions to align brand and digital initiatives with institutional priorities.
Guide the design and production of collateral and activations in partnership with in-house designer and/or agencies.
Website and Digital Assets
Lead the NBS Website Revamp, managing content mapping, stakeholder engagement, and user experience enhancement.
Establish sustainable website maintenance and optimisation processes, ensuring SEO and AEO compliance, up-to-date content, and continuous improvement guided by performance data.
Oversee key digital assets (website, social media, intranet) to ensure alignment with NBS's brand and value proposition.
Develop monthly performance reports on website traffic, campaign engagement, and digital performance, with data-driven recommendations for optimisation using marketing analytics and performance management tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or brand management, including leading end-to-end projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven stakeholder management capability
Strong technical proficiency across digital platforms and tools, including content management systems, analytics and performance measurement platforms, social media channels, and SEO and AEO principles.
Proficiency in content creation and ability to work with AI-assisted tools
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven project and complexity management capability with ability to deliver under tight timelines
Strategic thinking combined with strong execution capability
Curious and adaptable, able to work effectively in ambiguity and changing priorities
Collaborative team player who works effectively across functions and with external vendors
