Job Summary

Join a dynamic, international team as a Commercial Identity Account Manager driving the expansion of Palo Alto Networks’ Identity Security platform IDIRA (CyberArk) across the high-potential German market. With the vast majority of modern cyber breaches directly involving compromised identities, Identity Security has become a top strategic priority for most organizations.

In this role, you will capitalize on a massive market opportunity by systematically upselling the IDIRA platform into our established Palo Alto Networks mid-market install base in Germany. You will own the full sales cycle end-to-end—from initial discovery to final closing. To maximize GTM efficiency and scale, you will leverage our internal ecosystem (Core AEs, Domain Consultants) while actively co-selling with key channel partners and distributors to drive predictable, high-yield growth across the territory.

Your impact:

  • Accountable for your region: Own, forecast and execute full-lifecycle sales for Identity Security across the German Commercial market, proactively leveraging Palo Alto Networks customer base to identify and close Idira Platform opportunities.
  • Protect Critical & Workforce Identities: Focus on securing an organization's most critical privileged identities while expanding identity protection across the entire workforce and customer environment.
  • Champion Channel Sales: Partner closely with regional distributors and channel partners to amplify market reach, drive GTM efficiency, and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Leverage the Core Ecosystem: Proactively build relationships and co-sell alongside Palo Alto Networks Core AEs to maximize cross-platform reach.
  • Focus on GTM Efficiency: Maintain strict qualification discipline to focus energy on high-yield opportunities and maximize productivity.
  • Team Alignment: Collaborate within an international, cross-functional team (SEs, Channel) to build pipeline and close high-velocity deals.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successfully closing complex deals in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, win and close business within existing and new accounts
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles including identity security, PAM, IAM, Zero Trust, and compliance-driven selling would be highly desirable
  • Ability to understand business and technical use cases and convert them into solution opportunities
  • Experience working with channel partners, cloud providers, and GSIs to co-sell and accelerate go-to-market execution
  • Outcome-oriented with strong commercial judgment and quota ownership mindset; understands sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC
  • Proactive, Curious and Collaborative
  • Strong executive presence and influencing skills across all customer levels
  • Proficiency in German and English language skills
  • Willing to travel 2-3 days per week within your territory.
