Senior LLM Content Optimization Lead: Competitive Visibility
Own the LLM content optimization strategy, alignment, and execution across persona-driven content marketing experiences on NetApp’s owned platforms and priority customer touchpoints. This role will lead the development of AI visibility content strategies that improve LLM competitive discoverability, audience engagement, and measurable business impact across key business focus areas and programs.
The ideal candidate is a strategic content leader with an execution mindset—someone who can translate audience insights, buyer-journey needs, messaging priorities, prompt clusters, and performance data into actionable and measurable content plans. They will work cross-functionally to gain alignment, drive decisions, build and optimize NetApp.com content experiences, and connect content performance to clear business outcomes.
Skillset
- Deep expertise in B2B web content strategy, go-to-market planning, owned-channel strategy, SEO/GEO/AEO, LLM visibility, and persona-driven content experiences.
- Proven ability to own content strategy from insight through execution, including defining goals, building content plans, aligning stakeholders, and driving measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Own the development and execution of LLM optimized content strategies for core NetApp priority areas and competitive take outs ensuring plans are aligned to audience needs, messaging priorities, buyer-journey stages, owned-channel opportunities, and measurable business goals.
- Develop and execute strategies that strengthen NetApp's topical authority, expertise signals, and competitive visibility across AI-powered research and discovery experiences.
- Lead AI visibility experiments to identify new opportunities for audience engagement and discoverability.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across various teams within NetApp and agency partners to ensure content plans are clear, aligned, and executable.
- Translate audience insights, persona needs, search behavior, prompt patterns, competitive context, and performance data into documented content strategies that improve engagement, discoverability, and business impact.
- Define prompt clusters, topic clusters, and content experience plans that support visibility across traditional search, answer engines, and LLM-driven discovery.
- Build, optimize, and maintain content across owned platforms, including web experiences, blogs, resource hubs, campaign destinations, video hubs, and other high-priority customer touchpoints.
- Produce and/or oversee the creation of strategic content assets for netapp.com, including web copy, blogs, articles, videos, and interactive experiences.
- Ensure content is mapped to the full customer journey, with clear roles for awareness, education, evaluation, conversion, retention, and advocacy.
- Partner with digital, social, SEO, analytics, and campaign teams to optimize content for engagement, search visibility, LLM discoverability, conversion, and reuse across integrated marketing motions.
- Measurement: Define measurement frameworks, success metrics, reporting cadences, and optimization plans that connect content performance to audience engagement, platform visibility, lead progression, pipeline influence, and broader business impact.
- Monitor content performance and use qualitative and quantitative insights to recommend improvements, refresh underperforming content, scale high-performing content, and guide future planning.
Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 129,200 - 175,000 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
