NBC4 Los Angeles’ Advertising and Promotion Department is a high-performing, creative team dedicated to helping NBC4 and Telemundo 52 lead as Southern California’s top news brands across broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms. We are seeking a dynamic Creative Services Producer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is driven by storytelling, and brings a fearless, competitive spirit to their work—just like the journalists they support.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled, mid-level producer who is passionate about creating impactful, multi-platform content that reaches millions of viewers across one of the most diverse and influential media markets in the country.

The Creative Services Producer will report to the Senior Manager, NBC4 Creative, and play a critical role in shaping and evolving the brand identity of our award-winning news team. This position works cross-functionally with newsroom leadership, marketing, and digital teams to ensure our brand is expressed consistently and creatively across all platforms. From daily topical promotions to image campaigns, proof-of-performance spots, and PSAs, this role brings compelling storytelling to life in a rapidly evolving media landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive, write, produce, and edit promotional content and marketing campaigns across broadcast, streaming (FAST/OTT), digital, and social platforms for NBC4 and Telemundo 52.
  • Develop platform-specific creative that reflects the unique storytelling styles of broadcast, short-form, and mobile-first environments.
  • Partner with newsroom, digital, marketing, and station leadership teams to create integrated, high-impact campaigns aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Produce content in fast-moving news cycles, often with same-day or near real-time turnaround.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Promotion Manager, graphic artists, and the broader creative team to execute campaigns from concept through delivery.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and aligned with brand standards.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with all stakeholders throughout the production process.
  • Push creative boundaries while maintaining brand consistency and editorial integrity.
  • Participate in weekly planning and production meetings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • 3–5 years of experience in on-air promotion, news production, or video content creation in a broadcast, digital, or streaming environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong understanding of newsroom operations and content workflows.
  • Knowledge of the full content lifecycle—from concept development through production, distribution, and optimization.
  • Passion for storytelling and creating content that resonates with diverse audiences.
