Job Description

Motorola Solutions offers a full-time, paid internship program providing hands-on experience with impactful projects and products that make a difference. As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute strategies across various areas, including Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Digital Campaigns, Pipeline Expansion, eCommerce, Web Experience, Paid Media, Communications, Brand & Creative, Marketing Intelligence and Data Analytics. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your ideas are valued and contribute to meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities, varied by internship focus:

  • Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Support market research and data analysis to identify industry trends and growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance web, eCommerce, and customer digital experiences.

  • Help manage marketing projects, ensuring deadlines and project deliverables are met.

  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights for optimization.

  • Develop corporate communications strategies for key business milestones, strategic updates, and product launches.

  • Draft and edit official press releases, executive communications, and external PR materials.

  • Craft compelling brand storytelling assets and copy for digital platforms, websites, eCommerce, and paid media.

  • Conceptualize and execute creative content initiatives that elevate brand positioning and visual messaging across channels.

  • Collaborate with interns across various non-marketing departments to propose new business strategies.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field (e.g., Communications, Business) with expected graduation in or after December 2027.

  • Strong writing and presentation skills.

  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities to handle deadlines and shifting priorities.

  • Highly collaborative and skilled at building productive relationships internally and externally.

  • This role is part of Motorola Solutions’ talent pipeline initiative to connect with future candidates for potential opportunities. If your skills align with the requirements, we’ll reach out for an exploratory conversation.

Preferred Skills, varied by internship focus:

  • Experience with web design and general web tools such as Figma, Hubspot, and/or ContentStack

  • Experience with JavaScript and/or React

Basic Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required

  • Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date after December 2027 and return to school in Fall.
