Who this fits

You’ll suit a hands-on product marketer who can make technical ideas clear for enterprise buyers while producing materials yourself. The role spans Product, Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing, leadership, and demand generation, and reports to the Head of Marketing. It is onsite in the United States. Experience with healthcare finance, revenue-cycle work, supply chain, or managed care would help.

From the employer

Midstream is an AI-native financial operating system for health systems, founded by experienced entrepreneurs and backed by top-tier investors. We give finance, supply chain, and managed care teams real-time visibility into where margin is at risk, with a precise action plan for capturing it before it's gone.

Purpose-built for healthcare's complexity, Midstream transforms structured, unstructured, and external data into instant, contract-aware insights that drive smarter decisions. Our AI agents unify spend and revenue operations across the full back-office, learning and adapting with every interaction and delivering always-on intelligence that no point solution or one-off engagement can match.

We're compressing months to minutes and turning post-period hindsight into in-the-moment foresight. The tempo of healthcare finance is changing, and Midstream is leading it.

Opportunity

We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to define how Midstream's product and technology are understood in the market. This is a highly visible, high-impact role, and its output is tied directly to our growth: the messaging, positioning, and enablement you build become the pipeline our sales team converts.

Sitting at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Marketing, you'll be the translator—taking Midstream's platform and AI-enabled capabilities and distilling complex technical ideas into clear, concise narratives for healthcare's financial and operational leaders. You'll own our Ideal Customer Profile, product positioning, and messaging, making sure both internal teams and external audiences understand how Midstream improves financial operations and reduces administrative complexity.

You'll also help the market understand how agentic AI systems actually operate inside healthcare workflows—translating sophisticated technology into concrete operational and financial outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing.

How you'll make an impact

Define the Ideal Customer Profile and buyer personas Partner with Product, Sales, and leadership to define Midstream's ICP, conduct persona research, and pinpoint the financial and operational pain points that drive buying decisions.

Own product positioning and messaging Develop the core product narrative, value proposition, and differentiation strategy – the foundation every downstream asset and campaign is built on.

Drive competitive intelligence and differentiation Map the landscape of point solutions, consulting engagements, and legacy tools. Build the differentiation narrative, competitive battlecards, and objection-handling frameworks that help Sales win against the alternatives.

Build sales and client enablement Create the materials that power enterprise sales and account expansion: one-pagers, solution briefs, data sheets, FAQs, playbooks, messaging frameworks, and competitive insights. Train sales and client-facing teams so they can carry the narrative with confidence.

Translate product capabilities into clear storytelling Develop narratives and visuals that explain how Midstream's platform and AI agents operate within financial and operational workflows—and why our data foundation, not just the AI layer, is the durable advantage.

Bring new capabilities to market Partner with Product and Marketing to launch new products and features with sharp messaging, sales readiness, and customer-facing materials.

Fuel the pipeline Work with demand generation to turn positioning into integrated campaigns that communicate Midstream's value to buyers and build pipeline for Sales.

Who you are

A product storyteller and translator You turn complex technology into clear narratives that resonate with enterprise buyers, and you're energized by being the person who makes the complicated feel obvious.

Experienced in B2B product marketing 5+ years in product marketing, ideally in software/SaaS, with demonstrated mastery of the foundational PMM toolkit: messaging and positioning, GTM strategy, audience segmentation, competitive intelligence, sales enablement, and content creation.

Comfortable with technical, AI-driven products You can clearly explain platforms involving AI, automation, and complex workflows—and you're genuinely curious about how they work.

Strategic and scrappy Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving instincts paired with a "do-what-it-takes" bias for action. You're comfortable producing high-quality materials yourself while shaping the broader go-to-market narrative.

A proven cross-functional partner A track record of influencing Product, Sales, Sales Ops, and Marketing—and of successfully launching new products and features.

An exceptional communicator Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in PowerPoint and Google Slides; proficiency with Figma and/or Adobe design tools a plus.

Bonus: healthcare fluency Familiarity with health system finance, revenue cycle, supply chain, or managed care is a strong plus.
