👀 The Role
Title: Senior Customer Marketing Manager
Team: Canada Business Unit / Growth
Location: Toronto (Hybrid)
As Senior Customer Marketing Manager, you’ll bring senior-level lifecycle and CRM expertise to our growing Canadian business. You’ll work with central CRM and BI to turn customer insight and campaign plans into locally relevant promotions, automated journeys and communications—from early-life engagement and retention through to churn prevention and reactivation.
This is a hands-on, Senior CRM Manager-equivalent individual-contributor role, with no direct reports initially. You’ll take ownership of high-quality execution in Canada, influence priorities across teams and use testing to improve the customer experience, while working within the central CRM operating model.
You will:
Plan, build and optimise segmented, event-driven campaigns and lifecycle journeys across channels including email, push and SMS, adapting established approaches for Canadian customers.
Personally build and deliver promotions using our bonus / mission engine, alongside Braze automations and customer communications, with robust checks for accuracy and customer eligibility.
Partner with central CRM and BI to translate customer insights and campaign priorities into practical plans that support conversion, retention, churn prevention and reactivation.
Coordinate audiences, timing, contact pressure, exclusions and delivery across CRM teams, Product, Data, MarTech and Customer Service.
Work with Product and Engineering to align in-product promotions and experiences with relevant CRM journeys.
Design and run experiments, analyse available results and share clear recommendations; distinguish directional findings from measured incremental impact.
Monitor campaign performance and apply commercial judgement to bonus costs, forecasting, customer value and campaign return on investment, using the data available.
Work with Compliance and Responsible Gaming to deliver market-appropriate, responsible customer communications and promotions.
Build strong relationships across central and Canadian teams, independently managing delivery and communicating progress and trade-offs.
The next Midniter:
Brings substantial hands-on CRM and lifecycle marketing experience, including personally building and optimising complex segmented campaigns and automated journeys across multiple channels.
Has senior-level judgement and can independently turn customer insights and competing stakeholder inputs into an actionable campaign plan, while staying close to execution.
Has experience using a CRM platform such as Braze or a comparable tool; Braze experience is helpful, not essential.
Is comfortable setting up experiments, interpreting campaign data and reporting results and limitations to a range of stakeholders.
Understands promotional mechanics, customer value and bonus costs. Gambling or gaming industry experience is strongly preferred; experience adapting campaigns to different markets is valuable.
Understands email marketing best practices; familiarity with HTML for email and SQL is a plus.
Communicates clearly, works collaboratively across functions and cultures, and can deliver independently in an evolving environment.
Balances commercial outcomes with customer experience and responsible marketing, and is ready to work with relevant teams on Canadian market requirements.
