The Compute Data Center Business Unit (CDBU) drives the strategy, positioning, and market adoption of advanced memory and storage technologies developed for data center, cloud, AI, and high-performance computing environments. Working closely with engineering, product management, marketing, business development, and field sales teams, the organization focuses on delivering customer value through industry-leading technologies, data-driven insights, and market-focused solutions.

As an MBA Intern within CDBU, you will support priority EMEAIJ and Rest of World initiatives by conducting market analysis, developing customer-facing content, and crafting go-to-market recommendations for key verticals such as Financial Services and Sovereign AI. You will work with engineering and business teams to turn complex workload and infrastructure needs into clear business value. You will use AI and market intelligence to build impactful outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and opportunity assessments for targeted industry verticals, including total addressable market (TAM), customer segments, workload trends, ecosystem participants, and whitespace opportunities.
  • Develop customer-facing solution narratives, vertical playbooks, discovery guides, and marketing content that communicate the value of memory and storage solutions for data center workloads.
  • Collaborate with Data Center Workload Engineering (DCWE), product managers, marketing teams, business development leaders, and sales organizations to translate technical capabilities into customer and business value.
  • Leverage AI and Generative AI tools to research market trends, develop content, synthesize insights, and improve go-to-market recommendations.
  • Lead a defined internship project from research and partner engagement through executive presentation, final recommendations, and handoff of reusable results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an MBA (or equivalent graduate business program) and have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market, technical, or business data and develop structured recommendations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects and collaborating effectively with multiple partners.
  • Familiarity with AI, Artificial Intelligence, or AI-Assisted tools for research, analysis, content development, or business problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience or academic exposure to data center infrastructure, cloud computing, AI workloads, CPU/GPU platforms, memory technologies, or storage solutions.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services, Quant Trading, High Performance Computing (HPC), Sovereign AI, or related industry segments.
  • Experience conducting market sizing, value chain analysis, customer segmentation, or go-to-market strategy projects.
  • Experienced in translating technical and commercial information into concise customer-facing presentations, reports, or recommendations.
  • Proven curiosity, initiative, and ability to influence outcomes while working with geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$55.82 - $55.82 an hour

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
