Job Summary
Commercial Strategy and Innovation is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Communications Intern for Summer 2027 to support our internal and external communications efforts. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate communications within the healthcare technology sector.
Intern Program Details:
· Paid Internship
· Full time / 10 weeks
· Position will be based out of Texas, Georgia, or Virginia
· The internship program provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching
· Experiential learning and training provided by exposure to subject matter experts
Job Responsibilities
* Assist in drafting, editing and proofreading a variety of communications materials, including internal announcements, press releases, website content, social media posts, presentations, etc.
* Support the planning and execution of internal and external communication campaigns and events.
* Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities and media coverage to inform communications strategies.
* Manage and update content on internal communication platforms and external digital channels.
* Collaborate with various departments to gather information and ensure consistent messaging.
* Assist with media monitoring and reporting on communications effectiveness.
* Provide general administrative support to the Communications team as needed.
Job Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English or a related field.
* Expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems preferred.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Prior internship experience in communications or a related field is a plus.
