What you'll do

  • Run tasks from the work board through AI systems, then review the results before they reach the founder or clients
  • Check social creative for layout, text placement and fit with the brief; verify emails and reports make sense
  • Review the virtual assistant’s LinkedIn outreach, contact lists and Google Business Profile work
  • When work slows, use AI to identify client improvements and follow through on them
  • As trust builds, help run Google Ads, Meta Ads, email and SEO work, and flag campaign concerns to the founder

What you bring

  • You have marketing experience from an agency or in-house role, including ads, email or social
  • You understand marketing basics such as funnels and common platforms, and can approach unfamiliar tools
  • You check work carefully, are comfortable using AI tools and can work independently
  • You write excellent English

Who this fits

This part-time remote role suits a marketer who wants hands-on experience coordinating AI-led agency work and can take initiative without close direction. Campaign ownership grows over time as trust builds.

From the employer

Starling is a growing Dublin agency working with 10 to 14 Irish SMBs across Google Ads, Meta Ads, email, SEO, websites, social and LinkedIn.
The founder has spent the last eight months building the business around Claude and Codex. AI now does around 95% of the work.
The systems are built. The client list is growing. What’s next is the right person in the middle. You’ll take tasks off the board, run them through the AI, and make sure every email, creative and report is client-ready.
You don’t need to be a specialist or an engineer. You need marketing experience, a sharp eye and real interest in how AI is changing agency work.
Most marketers are still wondering what AI will do to their jobs. This is your chance to be the one running it. What you’ll own:
Running and checking client work
  • Pick up tasks from the board and run them through the AI systems
  • Review deliverables before they go to the founder or the client
  • Check social creative for alignment, layout and text placement
  • Sense-check emails and client reports for accuracy and sense
Checking the VA's work
  • Review LinkedIn outreach and list-building output
  • Check Google Business Profile posts and optimisation work
Proactive client work
  • When the board is quiet, ask the AI what could improve each client's results or relationship, then action it
  • Set aside roughly two to three hours on quieter days to run through the client list this way
Campaign oversight (over time)
  • Take on running parts of Google Ads, Meta Ads, email and SEO work as trust builds
  • Check campaign figures and flag issues to the founder
Day-to-day coordination
  • Keep the board moving so nothing slips through the net
  • Flag anything that looks wrong rather than passing it on
Who we’re looking for:
  • Prior marketing experience, such as agency or in-house work across ads, email or social
  • A basic grounding in marketing, including funnels and common platforms, enough not to be put off by an unfamiliar tool
  • Strong attention to detail and a diligent approach to checking work
  • Comfortable using AI tools and interested in working in an AI-led environment
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Excellent written English
