Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Develop, monitor, and control production plans to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements while optimizing production resources.
- Create and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, capacity, and material availability.
- Ensure smooth execution of production activities and monitor adherence to production plans.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products and processes are effectively developed and ready for production.
- Manage the transition of products from the development stage to full-scale manufacturing while ensuring quality and efficiency standards.
- Calculate and analyze labor, material, manufacturing, and associated operational costs to support business decisions.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives through effective planning, resource utilization, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Identify and develop new suppliers and sourcing strategies when product designs fall outside established sourcing frameworks.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement actions to maintain optimum stock while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Analyze production performance, capacity utilization, and efficiency metrics, and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements within manufacturing operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.
