We are seeking a Growth Marketing Consultant – B2B Strategy to help our businesses develop scalable, targeted marketing strategies that drive qualified sales conversations, client acquisition, and commercial growth.
The Growth Marketing Consultant will partner with marketing and business development leaders across M3's subsidiaries to identify growth opportunities, develop effective B2B outreach strategies, and implement campaigns that generate measurable business results.
This position combines B2B marketing strategy, persona-drive outbound targeting, multi-channel sequencing, and some hands-on campaign execution. The ideal candidate has experience developing targeted growth programs, identifying key decision-makers within prospective client organizations, and translating market insights into actionable outbound strategies that generate qualified sales opportunities.
We are looking for someone who understands how to reach the right decision-makers, develop compelling messaging, and build repeatable marketing programs that convert prospective clients into qualified commercial opportunities.
Experience developing outbound marketing and growth strategies for B2B services is particularly relevant, especially healthcare services, professional services, staffing and recruitment, research, or other relationship-driven industries.
This is not primarily a paid advertising or traditional digital marketing role. Success requires experience with B2B demand generation, outbound marketing, and sales-aligned growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Growth Strategy & Consulting
Partner with marketing and business development leaders across M3’s subsidiaries to identify growth opportunities and build a targeted outbound strategy for each business.
Build and own a full digital outreach path for each subsidiary, from identifying decision makers for each product to qualified handoff to the BD team.
Define handoff criteria, follow-up cadence, and target account lists with each subsidiary’s BD and marketing leads, and gather their feedback on message performance.
Develop a repeatable outbound framework that can be adapted across business units, services, and buyer audiences.
Audience Development
Define buyer personas and target account segments for each business’s sales activity.
Identify the budget owners, decision makers, and influencers at target organizations, and grow contact lists from verified sources and research.
Develop personalized messaging that speaks to the priorities of each specific audience, tailored by subsidiary.
Convert M3’s proprietary data assets, such as its physician network and health-system relationships, into a repeatable pipeline of qualified conversations through referrals and warm introductions.
Outbound Campaign Strategy & Execution
Run multi-channel outbound sequences across email, LinkedIn, and other social and digital channels, with messaging tailored to each subsidiary.
Design outreach sequences, messaging frameworks, and follow-up strategies that build familiarity before asking for time and generate qualified sales conversations.
Test and refine messaging to improve reply rates, positive-reply rates, and pipeline contribution.
Marketing Technology & AI
Operate each designated business unit’s outreach technology stack (sequencing, Sales Navigator), integrate it with their CRMs, and recommend new or more advanced tools.
Use AI-assisted research and personalization to build account and contact intelligence and personalize at scale, with human review and M3 brand standards applied before anything sends.
Coordinate with email deliverability specialists on authentication, IP warming, sender reputation, inbox placement testing, list hygiene, and compliance with Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft sender requirements.
Performance & Business Impact
Report weekly on placement, reply and positive-reply rates, and pipeline sourced by subsidiary and persona.
Use the data to retire what doesn’t work and scale what does, and translate results into clear recommendations for business leaders.
Identify successful outreach strategies that can be replicated across M3’s subsidiaries.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years in B2B digital outreach, demand generation, or sales development, including at least 3 years owning persona-based marketing for outbound revenue generation.
Demonstrated success reaching senior decision makers at complex B2B organizations.
Hands-on experience with sequencing platforms (e.g., Outreach, Apollo, HubSpot Sequences), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, contact enrichment and verification tools, and CRM integration.
Experience supporting or consulting for multiple business units, clients, or brands with distinct customers.
Ability to identify and verify the true buyer within a target organization (budget owner, decision maker, and influencers), distinguish them from adjacent or easier-to-reach contacts, and maintain a disciplined outreach cadence toward that person without defaulting to volume.
Strong writing skills: short, specific, and adaptable by persona and subsidiary brand.
Ability to use AI tools for research, personalization, and testing, with sound judgment about accuracy, brand, and disclosure.
Working knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR/UK GDPR, TCPA, and LinkedIn terms of service as they apply to outbound outreach.
Ability to independently manage several concurrent programs, prioritize across businesses, and report clearly to sales and marketing leaders.
Analytical fluency with campaign, deliverability, and CRM data; comfortable building simple dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience reaching senior decision makers in healthcare or health systems, or experience selling recruitment, staffing, or physician placement services.
Understanding of how health systems, medical groups, and staffing firms recruit physicians, and who owns those decisions.
Working knowledge of email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI), domain and IP warming, reputation monitoring, and inbox placement testing, and of how Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Proofpoint, Mimecast, and similar filters treat outbound mail.
Hands-on experience with deliverability monitoring tools.
Certifications in email deliverability, sequencing platforms, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
