- Experience leading distributed project teams, enterprise programs, user acceptance testing, and adoption-focused change work
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related discipline

About The Role
Lyric is hiring a Forward Deployed Engagement Lead to own the hands-on, technical delivery of complex supply chain analytics implementations. This is a senior, customer-facing role for someone who wants to stay close to the platform - configuring, modeling, and troubleshooting directly - while running a defined statement of work with program-management discipline from kickoff through go-live and adoption.
The ideal candidate is T-shaped: broad enough to engage across customer strategy, analytics, and technology, and deep enough to lead solution design and implementation. This role requires exceptional program management, executive presence, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment.
What You'll Do
Engagement Leadership & Governance
Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise supply chain analytics and optimization programs
Establish and manage engagement governance, including steering committees and program cadences
Partner with customer and internal executives to align priorities, manage risk, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Define engagement success metrics and ensure value realization against business objectives
Solution Design & Delivery
Translate business requirements into technical architectures leveraging Lyric’s platform, hands-on
Lead modeling, data integration, and configuration efforts across functional and technical teams
Collaborate with engineering, data science, and IT stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure implementations
Lead structured UAT and drive adoption of Lyric solutions across business units
Program Management & Team Leadership
Manage cross-functional delivery teams across geographies and time zones, including offshore delivery partners
Scope services engagements - translating ambiguous asks into bounded statements of work with clear success criteria
Drive accountability and communication across internal and external teams
Lead change management and customer enablement activities
Surface insights and feedback to inform Lyric’s product roadmap and delivery best practices
About You
8+ years of experience in consulting, enterprise SaaS, or supply chain analytics delivery, ideally owning statements of work end-to-end
Genuinely hands-on with technical delivery - comfortable configuring, modeling, debugging, and troubleshooting rather than only directing others
Deep understanding of supply chain analytics use cases (optimization, prediction, simulation)
Proven experience leading global project teams and managing enterprise-scale programs
Strong executive presence, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and credibly at all levels of an organization
Track record running UAT and change management that drives real adoption, not just sign-off
High attention to detail and structured program management skills
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and energized by building in a fast-moving environment
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; advanced degree preferred

Location: Remote. Up to 30% travel expected, primarily within the US.
Compensation: The annual compensation range for this position is $180,000 and $240,000 in on-target earnings. Base cash will be determined based on years of experience with a 30% variable compensation that is earned based on individual & business performance. You will also have the opportunity to receive equity in Lyric.
