We are seeking a highly driven, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented National Account Manager to lead and grow our Biscoff business at Target. This individual will own the Target business, including strategy, revenue growth, profitability, operational execution, and cross-functional leadership.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Target's systems, processes, and ways of working and is equally comfortable building long-term strategic growth plans as they are rolling up their sleeves to resolve deductions, manage Vendor Income agreements, troubleshoot inventory issues, or navigate item setup challenges.

This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, financial acumen, customer leadership, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will serve as the internal expert on all things Target and be accountable for delivering sustainable, profitable growth.

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Develop and execute the overall Target account strategy to deliver revenue, share, distribution, and profit objectives.
  • Own annual business plans, customer growth strategies, assortment recommendations, promotional plans, and innovation launches.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning initiatives and identify opportunities to expand the business within Target stores and digital channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Target buying, planning, inventory, and merchandising teams.
  • Lead customer meetings, line reviews, business reviews, and strategic planning discussions.

Business and Financial Management

  • Own the Target account P&L and deliver against revenue, profitability, and trade investment objectives.
  • Manage pricing, customer investments, promotional spending, Vendor Income Agreements, and account profitability.
  • Leverage POS, inventory, replenishment, and financial data to develop accurate forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and drive informed business decisions.
  • Partner with Finance, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain teams to optimize customer profitability, inventory health, in-stock performance, and promotional execution

Target Business Operations

  • Serve as the company's primary Target expert and lead day-to-day business execution.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Target systems and processes, including POP, Vendor Income Agreements, item setup, promotions, inventory management, compliance metrics, and dispute resolution.
  • Identify and resolve operational, inventory, supply chain, and compliance issues that impact sales, service levels, or profitability.
  • Manage deductions, chargebacks, disputes, and other financial recovery activities.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Serve as the voice of Target internally, partnering across Category Management, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain to deliver account objectives.
  • Align stakeholders, drive accountability, and ensure flawless execution of customer initiatives.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct selling experience managing Target account, including regular engagement with Target buyers, planners, and cross-functional teams.
  • Currently resides or is willing to relocate to Minneapolis, MN.
  • Proven experience managing national retail accounts in grocery or mass channels.
  • Expertise in trade promotion management, forecasting, and annual planning.
  • Proficient in syndicated data platforms (Nielsen, IRI, SPINS) and capable of turning insights into compelling customer-facing stories.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, while thriving in a nimble, entrepreneurial environment.
