About the Role
Lola Blankets is a fast-growing comfort and lifestyle brand on a mission to make the world a cozier place. We are seeking a Brand Designer to help shape how our brand looks, feels, and lives across every touchpoint.
This role sits at the intersection of design and illustration – bringing our editorial, elevated aesthetic to everything from packaging and campaign visuals to eCommerce and social. Reporting to the Design Director, the Brand Designer will translate brand strategy into visuals that are confident, considered, and unmistakably Lola. You’ll work closely with the Design Director, Brand Producer, Graphic Designer, and the rest of the Marketing team to keep our visual identity sharp and consistent as the brand grows.
Core Responsibilities
Visual Identity & Design
- Design brand assets across digital and print touchpoints, including packaging, web, email, social, OOH, and campaign collateral
- Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity system (typography, color, layout, and logo usage) across all channels
- Design eCommerce and web assets, including product pages, banners, and landing pages
Illustration & Creative Content
- Contribute original illustration work where it serves brand storytelling, including packaging details, campaign graphics, and editorial-style content
- Partner with Design Director to bring campaign concepts to life through polished, on-brand visual execution
- Stay attuned to design trends within the luxury, fashion, and editorial space to keep Lola’s visual identity feeling current
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Campaign Support
- Collaborate with the Brand Producer and Creative team on photoshoot support materials, mood boards, and shot lists
- Support the Marketing team with campaign graphics for paid and organic social, email, and SMS
- Ensure design consistency and brand guidelines adherence across every deliverable, while managing multiple projects and shifting priorities
We’re open to this role being hybrid or remote. Candidates based in NYC or Salt Lake City will be hybrid 3 days per week in our offices. Candidates in Los Angeles will be fully remote.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of design experience, ideally spanning both agency and in-house settings, preferably within retail, fashion, or luxury lifestyle brands
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Illustration, or a related field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating range across digital design, print, and illustration
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); Familiarity with Figma a plus
- Sharp eye for typography, layout, and color within a premium, editorial aesthetic
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Genuine passion for detail-oriented, elevated design work
