About the Role

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for driving qualified leads and consultations to local offices through grassroots marketing, community partnerships, events, and local media activation. This individual-contributor role owns field marketing strategy and execution for assigned markets, directing agency support and leveraging market data and cross-functional resources to identify opportunities and measure results. Success is measured by lead and consultation growth, referral-generating community relationships, and the effectiveness of local marketing investments.

Your Key Contributions

  • Own and execute grassroots marketing initiatives for assigned markets, including community outreach, local partnerships, and campaigns designed to generate qualified leads and consultations.
  • Responsible for executing local event strategy for assigned markets, including Grand Openings, overseeing planning, budgeting, agency-supported logistics and staffing, and post-event reporting.
  • Own local media activation for assigned markets, including hyperlocal print, radio, digital, and out-of-home placements, directing agency planning and buying support while coordinating with the Sr. Brand Manager to align with the firm’s broader media strategy.
  • Lead local market data and insights for assigned markets, including office marketing audits, competitor tracking, and brand awareness assessments, leveraging the CX/Research, BI, and activation agency teams for supporting data, tools, and analysis.
  • Build and manage strategic community partnerships and sponsorships with nonprofits, churches, schools, community organizations, Hispanic media, consulates, and local influencers, converting relationships into referral pipelines and event or sponsorship opportunities.
  • Drive accountability for local marketing’s contribution to office growth by tracking and evaluating qualified leads, consultations, referral opportunities, and cost per lead across grassroots campaigns, events, media, and sponsorships.
  • Contribute client and community insights to the firm’s Voice-of-Client (VOC) program, including client stories, common questions, and attorney or intake observations, in partnership with the CX/Research team.
  • Evaluate and recommend local events, media, sponsorship, and partnership investments against lead-generation and referral goals, measuring success by leads generated, consultations booked, referral opportunities created, and cost per lead rather than attendance or impressions alone.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Brand, Creative, Social, CX/Research, BI, and office leadership to ensure local marketing data and content opportunities are surfaced and acted on.
  • Report on lead generation, event and media performance, local market data findings, and agency effectiveness to Firm leadership on a consistent basis.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 6-10 years of professional marketing experience, including direct experience developing and executing grassroots/local marketing programs and events.
  • Previous experience directing external agency, vendor, or contract partners to execute field or local marketing programs without the need for direct reports.
  • Experience building market intelligence, competitive analysis, or business review reporting for executive audiences.
  • Ability travel at least 25% and work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as required by the business.
  • Decision Quality: Evaluates market data, performance metrics, and business needs to make informed recommendations about grassroots campaigns, events, media, sponsorships, and partnerships that best support lead-generation and referral goals.
  • Drives Results: Executes local marketing strategies with a strong focus on measurable outcomes, including qualified leads, consultations, referral opportunities, cost per lead, and overall contribution to office growth.
  • Manages Complexity: Coordinates multiple marketing initiatives, markets, agency partners, community relationships, and cross-functional stakeholders while balancing local needs with broader firm and brand strategies.
  • Optimizes Work Processes: Uses market data, performance reporting, agency resources, and cross-functional partnerships to improve the planning, execution, measurement, and effectiveness of local marketing activities and investments.
  • Communicates Effectively: Clearly communicates local market insights, opportunities, performance results, and recommendations to leadership, agency partners, community stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to promote alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Proven ability to design and run grassroots marketing programs with qualified lead and consultation generation as the primary success measure.
  • Skilled in owning local event strategy and hyperlocal/grassroots media activation end-to-end, directing an activation agency for execution support.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with Hispanic and Latino communities across assigned markets.
  • Comfortable owning local office audits, competitor, tracking, and brand awareness assessment by drawing on the CX/Research, Agency, and BI teams for data and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage external agency or vendor relationships, including scope, performance reporting, and quality oversight.
