Role Objective
Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented communications professional to join our Media Relations team. The successful candidate will support the development and execution of Link's media and corporate communications activities, helping to enhance and protect the company's reputation among key stakeholders.
Job Duties
- Draft and edit news releases, media responses, Q&As, key messages, speeches and other corporate communications materials.
- Handle media enquiries and support media engagement activities with local and international media.
- Prepare articles for our corporate publication and other thought leadership content.
- Conduct daily media monitoring, news digest and intelligence gathering, and identify issues, risks and emerging trends relevant to the business.
- Support communications relating to financial results, announcements, corporate transactions and other business developments.
- Manage media databases, external vendors and procurement-related processes, including budget tracking and invoice administration.
- Support media events, press briefings, interviews and site visits as required.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or a related discipline.
- 6-10 years of experience in public relations, media relations, journalism or corporate communications.
- A positive attitude towards learning, strong curiosity to new ideas and good appetite for new innovations.
- Good network of media contacts and a proactive approach to building and maintaining strong relationships with key reporters and journalists.
- Creative approach to story development and securing media coverage, underpinned by a strong news sense and good understanding of the media landscape.
- Sound understanding of financial statements, annual reports, stock exchange filings and listed company communications.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous, self-motivated and a team player with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
