About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM), based in our Montreal office, to help our operators gain maximum value and service from Light & Wonder's Infinity platform.

This role supports the technical success and operational health of our operator integrations across the platform, covering backend services (wallet and API integrations), frontend integration requirements (game launcher and client management), and platform features such as promotions and jackpot services.

The TAM acts as a trusted technical advisor and the voice of the customer, making sure operator needs, constraints, and risks are clearly understood and addressed within Light & Wonder.

This is not a sales role. It is a customer-facing technical leadership role focused on adoption, stability, and long-term platform success.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Technical Leadership

  • Act as the primary technical liaison between operators and Light & Wonder.
  • Represent operator needs internally, driving alignment across Product, Engineering, and Operations.
  • Lead clear, structured discussions with operator stakeholders, including senior leadership, on:
    • Integration approach
    • Technical trade-offs
    • Incidents and operational risks
    • Platform capabilities and constraints

Platform Adoption and Value Realization

  • Support operators in adopting and effectively using Infinity platform features, including:
    • Wallet and API integrations (WAPI / SAPI)
    • Game launch and frontend integration
    • Promotions, including free rounds and credit-based features
    • Jackpot configurations
  • Help define and execute operator success strategies that maximize platform utilization and value.

Operational Health and Risk Management

  • Proactively monitor and manage the technical health of operator integrations.
  • Identify risks early, such as integration gaps, operational issues, and regulatory constraints, and drive mitigation actions.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex issues, coordinating with:
    • Integration Engineers
    • Operations Support
    • Product and Engineering teams

Integration Support and Guidance

  • Provide technical guidance and best practices across the integration lifecycle:
    • Onboarding
    • Staging validation
    • Go-live readiness
    • Post-go-live stability
  • Support structured troubleshooting and make sure issues are resolved efficiently, with clear ownership and supporting evidence.

Customer Relationship and Advocacy

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with operator technical and product teams.
  • Develop a deep understanding of operator business drivers, operational models, and technical constraints.
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of experience in a technical role, including experience working directly with external customers or clients.
  • Hands-on experience integrating or supporting REST/HTTP APIs, including reading API specifications, tracing request and response flows, and diagnosing failures from logs.
  • Demonstrated ability to run structured troubleshooting on live systems: isolating a problem, gathering evidence, and driving an issue to resolution across multiple teams.
  • Experience acting as an escalation point for production issues, including communicating status and impact to external stakeholders during an incident.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, including presenting technical material to audiences that include one or more senior decision-makers.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and external partners across multiple time zones.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in iGaming or another regulated industry, such as payments or financial services.
  • Familiarity with player wallet or transactional API integration models.
  • Understanding of how regulatory and territory restrictions shape a technical integration.
  • Ability to influence and align teams without direct authority.
  • A commitment to excellence through continuous process improvement.
